| Luke McCormick to have ankle operation
He is to have an ankle operation which will put him out of action for a further two months.
It is yet another twist in Plymouth Argyle’s goalkeeping injury curse, which has led to them using seven different shot-stoppers already this season.
McCormick will have the operation before Christmas in an attempt to finally solve the ligament issue which has troubled him for much of the current campaign.

| Whats happened to the dutch guy, Tu Loeke? I quite liked him.
I wouldnt be surprised if his injury isn't particularly real, and Dezza has shipped him back to die Niederlande? |

| Probably see out the remainder of his contract whilst he gets better. He's been saying that he would retire soon anyway I expect this will seal it. |

I'd actually quite welcome that. Sick of being booed the length and breadth of the country while the adoring Avivas sing super luke in response. |

| You may be right Reg, given Brents adversity to spending it would fit in with the keep it cheap keep it ticking over culture at Akky Argo, personally don't rate MCormick that highly these days. Yes he can make some great stops but then all goalies do, his kicking and catching crosses is pretty average. Agree with Punchy I find it cringworthy hearing the Superluke chants. Next season there needs to be a root and branch rebuilding of the squad particularly goalkeeping duties whether he retires or not. |

| If one thing is certain, there WILL be a root a branch clear out next season. Del boy does it every year. |

On Luke's case being above average as he is i cant see many teams falling over themselves to sign him once hes done here and his criminal record wont help matters there either. I can see the idiots who worship him telling the reluctant one to offer him a coaching role with the youth academy just so he doesnt leave, |

Unfortunately exchanging dross for dross doesn't get a club very far in teams of building a quality squad. |

| Agree, Roos has given decent performances except for his early cock up in the Gillingham game which he and argyle got away with. |
