Message received reguarding Oxford United Official's trip to Plymouth Argyle Football Club

"Hi Oxford United, I'm contacting you from the Green Taverners in Plymouth to let you know of our fantastic pre match fan fest, doors open 12pm. The cost is £2 entry per person and hosts excellent entertainment, a bar and food facility and everyone is more than welcome to join us. The marquee is situated right next to the ground and one of our stewards will happily escort you to the away gate right before kick off. If you would like to book entry or need anymore info please contact me on 07772 869958. Kind regards, Lena"

Maybe the pasty and beer sponsors are fed up handing over beer and pasties for next to nothing. I wouldn't have thought any product being served up as the £5 in house scran is going to do much for their brand.
The whole taverner thing seems a bit limp these days, the website always lagging, especially so since one of their main people moved to Parkway, away from Brent's Akkeron. Not to my taste, but more importantly, their masquerading as some sort of pseudo charity  WHICH THEY MOST CERTAINLY ARE NOT, has been a disgrace right from the outset.
The near future shows them being kicked off Brent's recently acquired private land as a thank you, and I imagine that is having it's effect. Word gets around these villages.

I think it fulfilled its function a long time ago and we'll never know what happened to the money it 'loaned' James Brent
