| According to a PADSA member the club have been looking into this type of abuse for some time.
He wasn't able to tell me how many other people had been kicked out and banned for doing something similar. |

Well if he has then he's been a bit of an idiot. I really hope that's not the case. Boycott the games but don't abuse the carer ticket concession as a matter of course - that's just not on in any reasonable person's make-up. Please, please let this be a one off with a good legitimate excuse - if it isn't then the own goal has been scored by Punchy I'm afraid. I saw one post suggesting that it had been going on 'for years' - no evidence, of course, but as far as I can see it hasn't been challenged.
Some very sensible posts on this over there this morning, amazingly enough. Fact one: a disabled person's ST costs the same as any other full price adult ST. Fact two: if the disabled person needs a carer (and I gather they go through checks not dissimilar to those used by the DWP), the carer gets a free ST. So if the disabled person, as in this case, is too ill to go to the match, the carer who still goes is basically doing the same as anybody else who uses a mate's ST when the mate can't go. The seat's been paid for: it's just that somebody else is sitting in it.
I think some people are getting too hung up on the disabled / carer bit of this. Why is it allegedly an outrage to abuse this kind of ticket when apparently it's not an outrage to abuse any other kind of ticket? Due to different information being posted elsewhere, I've just checked. Disabled supporters - wheelchair users, effectively - get a discounted price for STs in the disabled supporters' area. Any other disabled person, sitting anywhere else in the ground, pays full whack. |

| I remember the Russian billionaire trying to totally stop the free carer concession at Chelsea. But quite happy to c.ontinue doling out free corporate concessions. Nice bunch some football club owners. Many entertainments and resources have free carer entry for obvious reasons, and have done for decades. The same old rump of people want to stop all that along with other "disabled overheads" |

Is that correct? Yes. If you don't use a wheelchair and don't sit in the disabled supporters' area, then you pay full whack, as comrade T&G has shown. |

Ambulant disabled supporter are charged at the normal rate with a free carer if required.

And of course, it's taken Brent up until recently to actually convert loans into ordinary shares. Such equity used to be standard practice from the off a generation ago. And just how much has his "underwriting" cost the club over the years, and how much have his other companies billed the club for this and that service? Impossible to tell, and I note figures released for last year are BEFORE interest payments. Any paying fan will have contributed more non returnable money. He's NOT a philanthropist, he's a property speculator looking for the deal he has often said is there to be done. |

| Well what a pasting I am getting on PASOTI because I had the audacity to go back onto free chat and actually try to tell people how it was. I had about half a dozen abusive private messages throughout Saturday from various 'people' and I use that term loosely to describe the person who I had a heated discussion with. You can't have go at people for having a go back, that's the way that I see it. And rinsing me out on PASOTI when you don't have the right of reply, well you get my point. My social media platform has been deleted after being advised by people who have my best interests at heart. I'm waiting on somebody to get back to me hopefully today before I decide where I go with this from here. |
