Another job in place? You'd have to say that would be the only scenario, yeah. Thing is, Dels stock has fallen rapidly since May. Unless he fancies working in the wilderness of the Scottish lower leagues on a quarter of his current salary. |

Where has all the money gone? Cup runs, transfer income etc and Adams hasn't seen any of it. If he goes, it will be sad news. The Board have not backed him this season and the results show that. If he goes, it could be a resignation ? Then the club have got hto hire a new person who hopefully has League One knowledge and keep Argyle in that dvision. As for the team themselves, perhaps a new manager may inspire them. However a good number of that side will then be shipped out at the season end. Then the new man at the helm will be given that bag of spare change and told off you go son. If Adams stays, he is on a hiding to nothing, hands tied and options running out. He has got to get a grip on the dressing room and his tactics. Address what the real issues are and get it sorted out. Otherwise, relegation may happen between March '18 or April 18. |

Adrian somebody or other, lives in Cornwall. Was a particularly vocal opponent of the consortium back in the day. I think he suffered from man love for Stapleton. Now it's obviously Brent. |

LACK OF INVESTMENT LACK OF AMBITION It is they havent got the bottle to attack the source of the problem which is Brents lack of interest and investment in this squad for years in lieu of his pipe dreams so they go after the manager cause its the easy option. It was the same with Sheridan who didnt do that bad a job here with all of brents restrictions at all yet you wouldn't have thought so given their attacks. Del Bhey's days are numbered sadly however brents arent which is even more sad. e Its funny the herald ran a story about their reporting from a crane of an argyle game 20 years ago when MacCauley banned them cause Beaker from the muppets (errington) has lost his balls since then. |

| Typical lazy and crappy journalism from the truly awful Errington and sidekick who must surely be in the Brent pocket somehow.
Errington to Adams - “The fans are losing faith in you. How does that feel?”. Really Errington? All of them? This from the bloke who jumped on the anti AFT bandwagon for not consulting enough members and fans. What a poodle. |

FCOL that's Errington's job - to interview and ask questions. |

| If DA goes what will be the excuses when the new manager can't get these appalling non-league standard players to perform? And when he isn't given any money to strengthen in January?
BRENT OUT NOW |

| The sooner a second manager fails under Brent's self centred austerity, the better. The finger can then start pointing at the real guilty party. This is div 3 not the championship. Couldn't be happening to a nicer regime. |

| Feel sorry for Adams clearly frustrated with an appalling budget period but 6 sending offs (dont forget Blissett) is not down to Starnes and Brent. Nor is the ridiculous after match conference talk doing him any favours clearly we're watching a different match to him nor his stubborn attitude to tactics
The club is a basket case from top to bottom |

BRENT OUT NOW If Adams goes, sacked / or resigns, I feel we will be moving into a Carl Fletcher phase 2.....Paul Wotton the cheap option because we will not have the funds to entice a proper manager in to run a squad that aren't Div 1 ability. |

There's a big difference between literally not having the funds, and choosing to channel funds somewhere other than the playing budget. Our situation with the excess millions from last year clearly puts us in the latter category. In our case, a shite playing budget has clearly equated to a collective bunch of pretty shite players. There are most certainly other contributory factors behind the scenes, along with all the red cards, but the overwhelming reason is we've landed a load of monkeys for our peanuts. |

Problem is many won't see it that way, as can be seen from the anti Adams reaction in other places. If Argyle get relegated this year and start to struggle next year, then it's very likely that a good percentage of the fan base will blame Adams recruitment rather than the circumstances behind it-Adams spent good money on crap players, club will take a long time to recover from this, board should take no responsibility etc. Almost unbelievable but tunnel visioned pro authorityism seems to run very deep in some psyches. |

| This made me laugh
Hats off to my colleague Chris Errington for asking the questions the fans want asking and having the balls to do so when, for a journalist, having to ask such things is a very, very tough and uncomfortable part of the job.
But Chris fronted up and said to Adams: “The fans are losing faith in you. How does that feel?” Adams’ response was: “It happens all the time. Football fans are a fickle bunch, they are either with you or against you.”
Do you think this part was added back at base.
Sorry Derek, but you are asking for trouble with that. You need the Green Army more now than they need you and such dismissive comments about them will not go down well, especially at a time where many are questioning so many aspects of your management.
Whether you believe football fans are fickle or not, it is not wise to suggest that they are and your other response to another probing question by Chris (Do you feel like a broken record right now?) also upset some members of the Green Army, whose patience is really beginning to be tested. |
