| Sounded like on another day we could have had a hat full. Radio Comms was quite praising but going to sleep start of each half unforgiveable shove or otherwise. My 17 year old at the match not given to praise easily said it was "very promising" Think we'll finish mid table |

The pundits and the bookies think we're down. Team is not good enough for L1. |

| Filling a third division squad with fourth division signings nearly always ends in tears. The fans pay top whack for tickets yet are told to shut up and be grateful when cheap shite signings is all thats on offer, the Brentmare goes on. |

The pundits and the bookies think we're down. Team is not good enough for L1. No they don't. Radio commentary is always pro-Argyle, but some sensible heads at the game seemed pretty happy with our performance, away against a team expected to be in or around the playoff spots. It'll depend on whether we can find a finisher. I think a season of lower mid-table mediocrity looms. |

| Adams is a good enough manager to keep the team up this year despite Brent's austerity. From all accounts, we played well yesterday, better than the debacle at the start of last season.
Need a goal scorer though, good performances are all very well, but if we can't put the ball in the net... |

They are professional footballers FFS What about some of these non league lads who do a days work first and then turn up and play. I did see postey say something similar over the road. You're not a double agent are you? Do you like Steel Panther, Black Stone Cherry, and The Cadillac Three? |

| Our football team stayed at a hotel in France many moons ago before a French/German/English tournament. One of our own team glued our bedroom locks with superglue, then there was an internal team fracas. And that was just the start, let alone the very subtle French nobbling we were too English to notice. How we got onto the pitch, I'll never know. We won the tournament eventually, but it took us another 2 years to smarten up. |

No wonder they didn't get a result with that kind of match preparation If they weren't 'that far north of Southampton' then they were on the A303, who uses the a303 unless they are going to Southampton....? |
