2 - 1 to Argyle

DEFENDER Sonny Bradley was absent from Plymouth Argyle's 2-1 pre-season win against Tiverton Town at Ladysmead on Tuesday night because of a toe injury.

Bradley, the Pilgrims' 2016/17 player of the year, dropped out of the squad after hurting himself in training in the morning, according to manager Derek Adams.

The centre-back, who has been linked in some circles with a move away from Home Park, did not travel to mid Devon for Tom Gardner's testimonial match.

Adams told Herald Sport: "He (Bradley) had a toe injury so that's why he was out today.

"No club has contacted us about Sonny Bradley. We have had no interest so that's as far as it goes."

Sorry for the lack of match report, I had a stressful afnoon as a friend died. I did end up watching the match, but as usual it was boring, so we ended up getting shit faced. We did have a good row with the ex Tory mayor in the pub.
