| Season over now bottled it when mattered and not just today so we cant say we were robbed of this cup as we didn't deserve it. runner up will do.

| How sick must Hartlepool be ? Came back to turn over Doncaster, only to find Newport scoring one late on to send them down. I guess the salvation of the north east isn't as simple as brexit. No surprise there, then. Something has clearly changed in the Portsmouth psyche recently. They'll continue to leave Argyle miles behind. The salvation of the south west isn't as simple as L2exit.

This. Some of the shite being written on this thread is frankly beyond belief-truth is that Argyle haven't lost the championship, Pompey have deservedly won the league with 7 wins in their last 8 games and congratulations to them. If you acknowledge that Pompey have been backed to a far greater extent than Adams then it really is the depths of idiocy to call Argyle "feeble minded bottlers" or whatever it was for finishing second to them on goal difference. Nobody but nobody on this site would have predicted the outcome this season and it will take more than losing what was always a bonus prize to alter the fact that the management and players have done fecking well this season under the circumstances. |

Nonsense. Aviva talk. It's my guess that when Argyle players are called bottlers, not by me by the way, it's just fans picking up on the fragile nature of Brent's regime that depends totally on Adams and possibly Carey,. If you can't get your head around the distrust, tough. Ever thought of just enjoying a promotion rather than taking pot shots at other fans who have a better nose than you. |

| Argyle did bottle it more than once this season and could have had this title won before now had they taken teams like leyton orient andtoday seriously instead of thinking they are a sure thing but it wasn't to be. Having watched the link on FB today for all it was worth it was the same old argyle performance against a team they really should have beaten and not being able to too cause they haven't got a plan b once plan A fails.
No point dwelling on it now as we are still promoted as runners up and finally out of this league and had a very good season.
My hope for the pre season training is we actually work on set piece defending which we have conceded so many goals too and how to deal with crosses into the box.

If you're gonna preach it, try practicing it. I'm talking of Greenskin's faith, not mine. I don't practice faith of a human construct when it is headed by dodgy characters, as in this case. I would have thought that was pretty obvious. |

| Oh well, Argyle fell short of becoming Champions. Well done to Pompey though.
I am happy with the season's outcome, promotion was a must do and DA has achieved that at last (with a small budget). A big thank-you to him and the team.
Finally, it's goodbye to League Two and all the fun Argyle have had during the time there (I for one will not miss the division) and a fond hello to League One and whatever that division will bring.

I was watching Geoff Stelling on Sky and actually felt so sorry for him when Newport scored the second goal. Not quite a Jimmy Glass moment but not far behind. |

Seriously? The bookies guessed it and a glance at the attendance averages would tell you much the same. It seems you've fallen for the Adams/Brent bullshit. |

Promotion was weeks ago. The title was in Argo's hands today and they f***ed it up as only Argo can. This team is nowhere near good enough to survive in L1 |
