Grimsby Town have sacked manager Marcus Bignot after just five months in charge of the League Two side.
The Mariners, who won promotion to the Football League at the end of last season after a six-year absence, currently sit 14th in the table with seven games remaining.
Bignot left National League club Solihull Moors to replace Paul Hurst as Grimsby boss in November, guiding the team to nine victories from 27 matches.
A statement on the club's website read: "Following Grimsby Town Football Club's return to The EFL, there remains a strong ambition to build on last season's promotion.
"Therefore, it is with regret that today the Club has decided to release the current Management Team from their first team duties.
"The Board would like to put on record their thanks to Marcus Bignot, Michael Moore and Gary Whild for all their hard work and efforts during the last 6 months and wish them the best for their futures."
