Good God. Why? Just why? The Brent theory of continuous ice comes to Home Park. If you can't get what you want, padlock and keep it mothballed. |

| Reading a post by X Isle over the road there on whether this game will sell out, he is suggesting this fixture may now attract hooligans from both clubs (considering the importance of the game for both sides). I doubt they'll open all the available blocks.
If it were a 'zero reputation' club then maybe, but this is Newport who have 'an element'...plus of course it's a warm bank holiday pressure match (for both clubs) and they tend to attract the 'elements' of uninvolved clubs who just want a 'rumble'.
Sad but true, a good few hundred greens will miss out on the possibility of watching their team promoted thanks to the historic knuckledraggery of those from the shallow end of the gene pool. Well done muppets.Source - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The home game Argyle played against County one or two seasons back saw their mob turn up. They were loitering outside The Brit, a trendy rabble of all ages. It was when Newport thought they had Play-off ambitions . The County fans were mouthing off, then walking up to the Argyle fans who were just about to pay and enter the ground and say - where do you come from then. The stewards were panicking and the police hastily pressing the record buttons on those digital cameras.

Could well be, old bill will no doubt have a mare of a day if it does kick-off. If any pitch invasion happens, how many will troop over to the Barn Park End and give it large, while plod frantically film one and all for future reference. |

| This could be a tougher game than Pompey given what is at stake for both clubs, and particularly so as we are at the theatre of dreams with massive crowd expectation. Pitch invasion surely if we get the coveted point and a round of applause for Lord Jim. |

| Can Argo avoid defeat at home to 2nd bottom to clinch promotion in front of a full house? If it was any other team in Argo's position it wouldn't even be a question. If Luton win at Mansfield we'll have to wait until Colchester. No adulation for brent to bask in on Monday. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Pig masterI'm up here now, helping out in the Ticket Office. All calls are being taken, there are NO queues on either the lines or face to face. The fans are being looked after admirably by the girls. I'm serving on the collection window and everyone inside and outside of the Box Office are smiling. Tickets selling really well. At this moment in time Block 17 is hammering out and the GS has only restricted views only. |
