Chuck Berry has passed away at the age of 90. He basically invented rock'n' roll music. What a magnificent body of work he leaves us, and what a legacy.

Very influential, Rolling Stones covered some of his stuff in their early days. He was slightly before my time to remember his heyday but I do remember "My ding-a- ling" and the controversy it caused, with people like Mary Whitehouse blathering on about the song encouraging "mutual masturbation" .lol!
