Get rid of pig and appoint a proper president and you'll have a nice little club.

Very cunningly worded, asks for feed back on what went well and what would be even better if........

Sack Starnes, Sack Bungo, and hire somebody who could organize a Piss up in a Brewery.

If you've got any complaints to make, the club doesn't want to hear.
Happy daze.

Brent knows exactly what went well and what didn't - particularly the tickets fiasco. Rather than admit himself that the club got it wrong, he's 'asking' for people to tell him what is obvious, so he and the board can then trumpet the fact that they've listened to the Green Army, and changed this and that. Deflecting criticism I believe it's called.

Or am I just being cynical?

Possibly. But I have another theory.

I may be way off mark but it wouldn't surprise me if Hallett has had a word and instructed this type of article to be put on. If anyone takes the time to do a little homework on his background, he comes across as pretty savvy. Again, I may be way off kilter, but I'm not sure his allegiances are that strong with the current hierarchy, that he'd be happy to keep the likes of Starnes, Back, Cowdery etc in situ if there was insurmountable evidence that they are not up to the task. He may even be keeping his powder dry for the time being and gathering evidence of their incompetency - via the fans, through this type of open questioning. It'd be a doubly smart move. Show the fans your listening to their concerns, and at the same time build yourself up a nice little dossier. Very Happy

Even if he can't bring himself to read all of the uproar on ATD and Freechat, there are a couple hundred pages on Precious Pasoti of major dissent at the whole balls up. One things foreshore, everyone who's had an issue should get in touch.

Just a thought.

I don't think you are very far from the mark at all Czar. Hallett has just invested 5 million into a club that can't organise a piss up in a brewery. That has got to change.
