| So the seats, which we're told, the club installed at a loss even though they charged £35 each, are still there. So presumably, they're still paying rent for them.
But they're not being used for the Exeter game, which you would have thought, would have helped to pay for the rental. Even though the rest of the ground is full.
We're then left with the possibility that the club, a) can't be bothered, or are incapable of putting arrangements in place for the extra ticketing, or b) they don't need the extra money.
If option b) is the case then perhaps the club weren't being totally truthful over the amount of money they cost to install and the fact they were making a loss. Why else would they still be there and not being used?
Makes no sense at all. Another question for Mr Starnes?

| If I posted right and some of the DJM teams are using the temp stand Because half term starts this weekend isn't this the best game to use the free Blackpool tickets DJM were given? |

| Damon put on FreeChat that Safety Certificate shouldn't have been issued due to insufficient access routes for number of seats.
Expect limited number of DJM guests. Lads team heard nothing.
Doesn't bode well for final capacity after the refurbishment. |

Doesn't bode well for final capacity after the refurbishment. So where were the access routes when we had around 1000 more seats on the Mayflower prior to Admin? |

| Argo selling out and the demand for more seats is all very inconvenient for the mini-stand supporting, reduced capacity loving brentophiles.
Argo under brent just stumble from one crisis to the next. |

| NO HOME Park’s Mayflower terrace will be home for the next generation of Argyle’s Green Army in Saturday’s Devon Expressway Derby. Temporary seating installed for last month’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Liverpool is staying for the Sky Bet League Two visit of Exeter City. However, some of the Mayflower seats have been removed following consultation with supporters who suffered restricted views during the cup game, and tickets for the terrace will be restricted. In his regular bi-weekly column for the Plymouth Herald, Argyle chief executive Martyn Starnes revealed that Argyle had decided to sell tickets for the stand to young supporters allied to the club’s Community Trust. Other seats will be occupied by fans who need to be migrated from other areas of Home Park. Martyn said: “The temporary seats, installed at a significant net cost to the club and enabling an additional 1,600 or so fans to watch the Liverpool game, will still be in place on Saturday. “However, given the unintended and unforeseen consequences of impaired sight lines, and following consultation with supporters and our partners on the Safety Advisory Group, we have significantly reduced the capacity in those seats for the Exeter match. “The tickets we have made available in that area have been mainly sold to junior members of groups associated with our Community Trust.” It will be the last time that any supporters will be able to use the Mayflower seating. “We are now planning to remove the temporary seats and this will be undertaken next week,” said Martyn. “We’re not yet able to confirm whether this will be achieved before or after the match on Tuesday night against Leyton Orient. This is going to be subject to the availability of the contracto Read more at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]There you have your answer over the seating in the temp stand, He did have consultation with us fans, but which one |

| the consultation with supporters prob refers to the disabled fans complaints... the temp seating is a complete lash up, how nobody in charge ever sat on a chair (in lieu of wheelchair) in the disabled section before the Liverpool match and went 'feck' is beyond me.
Argyle are a decent manager and team supported by a ramshackle, cheap, incapable owner, the customer experience is poor and all Argyle ever do is pay lip service to surveys and 'promise' to improve next time. |
