Looks like jimmy will have to open his piggy bank in January. He can't open his piggy bank as all the money he did have stashed away went on buying the ground. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]He's allowed though because eeee saved uzzzz. |

| He's probs already agreed to sell Carey in the window and will pocket most of the cash, hence the edge has gone from the playing and coaching staff. |

You can't buy a Jeroboam of Moet & Chandon for Lidl Lambrini prices Pete. |

All managers make mistakes surely, the majority of Dereks signings have been positive. He has to be working within severe budget restraints, courtesy of the reluctant one, he is a good manager, personally I can see him getting the Scotland job one day. But now we have a owner and board who have never even tried to sell success to a gullible fanbase. The only way forward is a change of ownership, with all its risks, end of. |

| Is losing 3 games in a row a slump? Not good certainly, but after 14 games unbeaten, just a bit previous to call it a slump.
No win in the next 3, perhaps, but not quite yet.
If it does turn into a full blown, runaway, never ending slump, then it'll be every one's fault except Lord Jim - obviously. |

| Obviously, the Brentherald and superluke chanting Avivas will nullify any blame, on our illustrious owner. |

He has his fair share of course as do the players. He has to get us over the christmas period without too mny slip ups and demand real money not monoply cash to strenghen our weaknesses and offload some deadweight like goodwillie and ijaha |

| Anyone apart from the fine gentleman, who "gets it" and of course "saved us". Like his non-investment in January had absolutely nothing to do with last season's collapse nor the one before that. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| As long as the Non Developer owns the club it will remain Fourth Division crap, deep down even the Aviva's know that. |

The team he built took us to the top without Garita, Threkald, Sawyer then we lose Spencer and ... boom!! It appears DA's initial recruitment together with coaching was OK with some players actually being better than their CV suggested. January looms with t/f in (and some out?) with many crying out for another big frontman and a real ''King Tommy'' striker. Easy then? Not easy in the slightest. DA is focussed on where he wants to go and 2 seasons of not achieving promotion will damage his CV. He needs to sort it out and I'm sure he will. The new loan system is really levelling out the playing field. |

Of course Adams is responsible but he is only partly responsible and he can only do the best he can with the resources he is given and that goes back to the budget being provided by the owner. Today it has emerged that we only had the 10th biggest budget last year and we finished 7th so Adams over-achieved by a little - but not enough to be significant. This year we are currently 2nd in the league on, presumably, a similar budget so Adams is again over-achieving. It's easy to point at Goodwillie and say it is the manager's fault but every manager signs players who do less well than was hoped. It's how often that happens and how badly they disappoint that makes the difference. |
