Just finished the electrics for the 'dog house'.

My daughter has been helping as my 'apprentice'.

I would have finish a couple of hours ago if I had been on my own!  Mad Rolling Eyes Very Happy

If I'd known the Cwop had stopped doing the nice egg, spinach and tomato sandwich I'd have taken a packed lunch to work.

Never thought getting a new, lightweight, cordless (and pricey) strimmer would change my life as much as it has.

I have dallied with the idea of going down the cordless route. Only problem is, I always seem to do ‘garden things’ on the spur of the moment. This would necessitate me always remembering to put stuff on charge straight after I’ve used them. And I have a memory like a sieve. Even then, I have a cordless drill and even if I put it on charge it seems to lose its charge quite badly if not used for a few months.

I broke my pressure washer doing the missus’ car during the week. I don’t think they do cordless pressure washers though.

My strimmer only takes 45mins to charge fully so I stick it on while I'm dealing with the brambles and other shite that encroaches from next door.

My strimmer is cordless and I don't need to wait around for it to charge.  All I do is add fuel...

Have you thought of using paraquat or maybe some organo phosphates? Just spray grass and leave, no messy clippings. If you then bought some cheap b&q shed paint you could spray the brown grass green.

Nah. Think I'll probably concrete over the lot and then paint that green. Then I could sell the strimmer and the grass shears (which get more use than the strimmer) and use the money to buy an old wreck of a car to put out there.

In other news, the last of the tomato mountain was consumed yesterday. Might not plant quite so many next year.

There used to be a Council street sweeper truck that came around and sprayed the kerbside weeds. Cutbacks mean they don’t come any more.
