Spent yesterday with Mr Rug Doctor......seven carpets later plus all the furniture moving and I'm knackered.....at least I'm happy in the knowledge that if I keel over it will be on a nice clean carpet although still slightly damp.

So did you hire the machine for a day? How much? Do the necessary detergents all come with it in the price.

I need to build up the courage to venture into eldest daughters bedroom (or as we fondly call it, Aleppo) to see if a salvage operation is at all possible.

Didn't want to get up this morning so I phoned my boss to see if I could have a couple more hours sleep and come in later.
