I don't really know but i vaguely remember a radio show [i think] called the Glums,which i seem to recall had characters similar to the names that you quote.I thought it was Ed Glum though,as i say its very vague.

Definately the Glums with Jimmy Edwards.

The Glums it is. I chanced upon a broadcast on Radio 4 Extra yesterday. Still good.

Don't know the Glums, but my Round the Horne and Julian and Sandy CDs take a fair old pummelling.
