Does anybody know where Planet Rock on DAB has gone?

My display now shows zPlanet Rock and the station is unavailable. I've tried scanning for it but with no joy.

Am I just in a duff reception area or has it gone altogether?

I'd seen that. It is supposed to be on Band 11A but it isn't - not in Plymstock anyway.

Can anybody get it anywhere else?

Unfortunately Plymouth is included within the quarter of population that isn't able to receive the 11A signal.

I'm not sure we're in line to get that bandwidth either. I read somewhere it's all about cost and quality of signal - if I can find the link I'll post it.

Ah!

Thanks for that, Greenlander. That explains it.

There is a Planet Rock app so I could get it on my phone but that's too much hassle when I just want something on the radio in the car.

The BEEB have had to cut some services from Plymstock and have diverted the money to the foreign aid budget.
