| Given that the Royals are two leagues above us, and that we have a terrible record in the League Cup (3 wins in 23 years?) this is a home banker. Best we can hope for is keeping the score respectable.
Dorel Miller, Songo'o, Bradley, Sawyer Threlkeld, Carey, Fox Jervis, Slew, Goodwillie
McCormick, Smith, Spencer, Donaldson, Purrington, Rooney, Ijaha.
Dorel, Fox, Jervis & Slew in for McCormick, Donaldson, Spencer & Ijaha.
On paper seems a stronger line-up than the one on Saturday.

At this rate he'll need all he can get to pay off the newly 4 year contracted Adams when he's sacked... (2-0) |

| That four year contract giving to Dezza Fletcher Adams, is looking like another Argo Masterstroke. |

| I might of mentioned this before, but when you sign misfits and rejects on a massive scale how do you get promoted this way ? Adams is starting to look more and more clueless. |

This screams peter Reid era when he had to sign literally anyone to make a squad. YET the idiots on pasoti refuse to see what is happening in front of them with brent at the helm. de ja vu. |

'Tis true. I've gotta say the type of players Adams has brought in don't in any way at all compare to the ones we've lost. By all accounts the playing budget is bigger than last year. So how the f uck have we ended up with a squad that is largely dross? |

So how the f uck have we ended up with a squad that is largely dross? When you want players to move hundreds of miles for a short term contract with average/shit money, all you will get is the desperate and the damaged, yet Brent pleads poverty on nine thousand gates? its a real mess. |

| You can't make a silk purse and all that.
The upshot is that virtually every signing was either a misfit or a crock. Adams needed a bigger squad to cope with the loan rule changes but it seems his budget has not changed. Whatever quality we had has been spread thinner. feckin joke really.
The only bonus is I don't really care that much anymore. |

| Luton (H) lost = well its 1st game of the season so give the players a chance Reading (A) lose = well they are 2 divisions higher and its only the cup so who cares Carlisle (A) lose = well, its the first away game and its a long way Notts Cty (A) lose = we never win there anyway Mansfield (H) lose = its getting better lads because we had a shot on target Blackpool (A) lose = well, its only the second away game and its a long way (fast forward to May) Grimsby (A) lose = well, its only the 23rd away game and its a long way.
End of season assessment - Overall though, at least next season we get a derby game nearer than Excretia and we can go to North Ferriby which will be a new ground/field.
