| Hey Folks, Thought I would drop in and say hello, I'm very new to football (Canadian - born and bred on hockey) and recently started playing a few FIFA games... Since my family originates (back in the 1700's) from around the South Brent area I figured I'd find the closest team to there to play as and from what I can tell that was PAFC. After becoming the most prolific goal scorer the team had ever seen I thought maybe I should spend some time and try and find out a bit about the club for real and came across your forum. Couple of questions: 1. Is there any way to watch matches online? 2. Is there any way to get a jersey that isn't heat applied logo? 3. Do all the jerseys have the corp sponsorship on them? Outside of that I'm going to do some lurking and hopefully don't ask too many dumb questions. If any of you are curious about hockey please let me know |

| 1. No. Not live anyway (usually). Highlights post-match on Sky, Youtube and the official website.
2. I think the white away kit is heat-applied logo-free (not sure about this).
3. Yes.
Pretty much nobody in this country cares about ice hockey although Derek Sanderson is a name with some reknown in these parts. |

| 1. If an Argyle match is being broadcast on TV in the UK (rare and normally a cup tie) you can usually find an illegal online stream from a betting site to tap into. Details on how to do this are normally hinted at on this site.
2 & 3. Many vintage replica jerseys are without logos and corporate sponsorship.

| Thanks folks - that's too bad there isn't a great to see the team online. I've never been to the UK but hope to in a cpl years, are the live games expensive?
The retro jerseys are pretty neat... that might be the ticket.
@angry - not sure I get what you are saying? |

| The tickets are £22 i think. A right rip off for a shit club in a shit league.
If you brown nose the clubs owner enough, you should be able to get a free pass to the Directors box though. |

| Hi Monkeywork, Reddit is a good source for live streams, if a match is televised, I saw the Flyers quite a few times back in the 80s, hockey is definitely a game to see live. _______________________________________ COYG!

| I'm one of the nobodies, I guess. Got into the sport when Gretzky was traded to LA, and have been a Kings fan since. I've always wondered how so many of the North American sports manage to turn out shirts and other apparel which isn't hideous, when so many footy teams fail so spectacularly.
Anyway, the retro kits are probably the way forwards. That, or something subtle - like a facial tattoo? |

Obviously not. Still, you gotta admire the bloke, Les - supporting a rock-bottom team and hoping they'll work their way up. << >> |

<<>> You can choose your friends but you can't choose your football club Hugh. The fella's got green blood, his ancestors fought off Derek the Red during the South Brent Viking invasion in 891. |

| LOL no drama - I tried creating accounts on both boards at the same time (the other one has a longer review period I guess). If there is a rivalry between the boards I don't know the history just figured I'd sign up multiple places and try to learn what I can. |

| @seadog I agree there hockey is a game to see live, and from my time going to MLS matches so is football if you can get yourself sitting in the crowd supporters section. I'm a life long Toronto Maple Leaf fan, I was cheering for the team before I could walk. They are the most profitable team in the NHL, have arguably the largest fan base, and Toronto is often called the Hockey Meca of the world... however we haven't won a championship since 1967 and for the last decade + have been completely shit... but the future is starting to look bright. Not sure if there is a football club that would be similar to that sort of description but as you can see I can easily support a team that is less than good |

| You're more than welcome monkey and congrats on passing the pasoti membership criteria test.
We're playing away at Carlisle tomorrow, our longest trip of the season although to you Canadians it would probably be considered walking distance. Sign up to Argyle Player and you can listen to the match online, should be thoroughly riveting, you'll be hooked for life, time difference could be an issue though, 3pm here.
