| Argo holding their own, playing some good passing game, defence fairly organised. Don't think Brom will do a Leicester this season. |

| Surprise by the size of the crowd that turned up, Surprised by the standard of football, Surprised by the players commitment. Looking good. |

| Brief (pissed) synopsis...
A largely non-eventful encounter. One clear chance for them first half which was wasted.
Don't recall much else happening in the 2nnd half, tho we did all go back down the Brit with about 10 mins to go after exceeding the maximum boredom threshold.
**Point of order - anyone, yes ANYONE who thinks it's acceptible to wear treking sandals to a football match, should have a serious word with themselves. **
Looked like a training game for the most part. That Bradley looks a fookin big unit, mind.
Very little to get moist about, but that said West Brom were pretty shite for a Prem team. |

| Great to hear the poor saps will be wheeled out to give James a 10/10 mark when Pasoti do a Match day Experience thread next year... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I do despair of the mentality of the average Janner tho tbh. Came down to the concourse on 40 mins and there is a queue 40 yds long with dimwits still joining the back of it. After going for a piss I realised my mate who was getting them in had dutifully joined the 'queue'. After five minutes or so of gaining no ground he realised the only way to actually get a fuckin drink and consume it before the 2nd half was to ignore the thick cnuts dutifully forming one, yes one queue, and move up to one of the four or five actual till points at the drinks kiosk. Lord give me strength. Your typical Janner really is a pure brainless fuckwit. |

Absolutely as I just said to a rather pissed Baggie on the train as it was pulling into mutant abbot, if I was Tony Pullis I would be worried, the pissed Baggie didn't respond either he was too pissed or he didn't give a shit, who knows. Somehow I Think Derek might have put together a half decent league 2 side despite the influence of you know who, quietly confident but don't quote me. |

| If you hung around post-match we must have been in the Brit at the same time. The game was a crushing bore. WBA were to a man, pretty much, mahoosive. I suppose 0-0 is creditable given the gulf in status between the teams but we never really threatened apart from one header in the second half that looked perfect until ball and head made contact. We might have had a penalty which would have livened things up a bit. They missed a golden opportunity inthe first half and Dorel made a great save in the second. Our new sponsor means that we now have to endure Ginsters pasties inside the ground. I didn't know who any of the new players were and not having names on their shirts didn't help but [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] seemed to the pick of the bunch to me. He got in the way lots, played 90 minutes and used the ball well. Could be a real shrewd acquisition. Don't know who any of the others were but the black guy in CM for the first 45 is a real unit. Seemed to be blowing bubbles near HT though. Lovely day for it no matter how dull it was and it was very dull indeed. |

Championship football cannot be maintained for long without finance from owners and/or top flight exposure to cement fanbase and retain staff. Argyle would be as well supported as Swansea, Hull etc if we ever get the right owners/ground/infrastructure etc. At this point in time, the reluctant one is happy to use poor saps who just love the village show to volunteer and pay for crap, just so they can feel like they're someone...............................but he calls all the shots and is only here for personal profit. Nauseatingly nerdy but he knows there are enough idiots to keep things ticking over, while he does the minimum and waits. |

| They're awful. But I guess when they are free via a sponsor Brent will grab whatever he can.
Any type of northerly wind when it's raining and the front row will get properly drenched. Also if you're over 4' 6" it'd be a bit cramped in behind.
Village to the end. |
