No, I wasn't, but one grandmother certainly worked under it's daily incessant call to arms. And her sister too for a while, I understand.
We were born under the sound of our other grandmother and Mousehole sister bemoaning their fortune at having to ferry holiday makers and the like over to the Scillies, rather than do proper work chasing the herring. "I told those idiots not to over do the fishing, but they didn't listen, bleddy beggars".
