I can't help but think that we need a better goalie than Hart.

Another way of looking at it is which of our players would get in any of the teams that are likely to win: France, Germany, Spain, Italy.

Start with Hart and would you pick him before Lloris, Neuer, De Gea or Buffon if you were them?

I think our FBs are as good as any but Cahill and Smalling... iffy.

Rooney and Alli have been great in the middle so that's good. Sterling... iffy (how I wish we had Walcott or Townsend instead of him!) No grumbles about Dier and with Sturridge, Kane (although he hasn't yet shown it) and Vardy we have strikers as good as anybody.

Give us Ramos and Chiellini at CB with De Gea in goal, and maybe Iniesta in place of Rooney, and they might as well just give us the trophy right now!

Not sure about France it's all in the two forwards.

I don't think there's one outstanding team so far. France have an obvious advantage, Germany always do well in tournaments and Spain are a talented bunch. Portugal have disappointed (although the comedy value of having the worlds most arrogant footballer in an underachieving team shouldn't be underestimated). I reckon it could be any one of about 8 teams that wins the mongrel, England have as good a chance as anyone.

If England win Group B, they will play the third placed team from Groups A, C or D.

How that will be worked out, I don't know.

I blame the backward part of the EU that knows FA!!!!

Apparently if we win the group we avoid having to return to Marseille. That can only be a good thing.

Italy Vs Spain should be a good match tomorrow, i have not been too impressed with Spain so far, but they can turn on the style when needed. As for Italy, well, you never know.
