| Anybody seen coverage of the Copa America?
There has been some great matches. A little more 'open' than the Euros...
The World Cup aside.... To have the finest football tournaments of the worlds two major football continents played at the same time live on TV in HD, is football heaven! |

| I don't think it is being covered anywhere.
It certainly isn't on BBC/ITV etc or BT/EuroSport... I wouldn't know about Sky, for obvious reasons, but I've not heard anybody mention it. |

| Didn't realise they still played soccer in the Americas ? Are Mexico allowed to join in or have they been banned ? |

| The South American Euro 2016 equivalent is currently being played in the USA, Lord B.
I'm not sure why they have migrated north but they have also invited some extra countries to take part and this definitely includes USA, Mexico ( so clearly not banned) and Jamaica. |

| Couldn't have anything to do with USA money, could it ? Why doesn't North America have it's own championship, rather than gate crashing proper football folk ? They could call it the World Series, or the Galaxy finals. |

| The South American cultural and tactical input into world football is immense. There seem to be quite a few streaming services available. I'm going to give a game a shot, as so far the Euros are a bit of a same old. Haven't enjoyed them since Gazza and Venables. |

| Certainly Ammy. In football terms, I really, really enjoyed the fans for fans era at Argyle. My most enjoyable non playing football experience. It was a great club in those early Stapleton/Foot days, probably as good as anything in my long Home Park experience. As good as the Waiters thing, but for quite different reasons. In other areas, I have enjoyed virtually every day of my life since Gazza, and well before too. If, as you seem to suggest, your kids are not enjoying their present predicament, may I suggest they get their act together, change their outlook, and don't wait for Boris to hand them an answer. and a measly pay rise There's no point just talking about being different and unquantifiable, you have to walk it. |

Ooohhhhhh, that caught me out there, you talking shite about my kids who you've never met, what the feck do you know or quite clearly care about either of them? I only mentioned one of them the other was my missus. Clearly this is about the haves and have nots, you have and don't care about the have nots even though they work hard at jobs that keeps the shite flowing down your pipes, a roof over your head and food in your belly. "Get their act together" about as pretentious and I'll informed as you've ever been and that really is saying something. As for my wife, stay away I know you've got previous. |

| Mimicking Maradona!
Brazil knocked out in the Copa group stage by a Peruvian 'Hand of God' goal!
It took the ref three minutes to come to a decision. He still got it wrong.
Huge shock waves....

| Having grown up watching Brazil since the 70's they are clearly at their worst now - probably in their history. Dunga needs to go. |

| So down to Argentina V Chile. Probably the two best teams in the tournament.
Kick off beckons...
Heart wants Chile. Head says Argentina.
Should be a good game!

| A real battle...
Neither team held back. Both teams lost a man to red cards in separate incidents. The game was fast and furious. It ended 0-0
Penalties...
Chile stepped up and missed.
Messi stepped up and missed.
Chile closed it out 4-2
Chile champions again after beating Argentina for the second time in succession on penalties!
Congratulations Chile! Champion of the Americas! |

Congratulations Chile! Champion of the Americas! Is that why Messi has announced his retirement from international football? |
