| I hear Nicky J has passed. His in-laws lived opposite me once (I was 12/13) and I would take my boots over on Xmas Day to get signed. RIP. |

| I wouldn't say that Graiser. Barrie Jones was better in his short time here and Dalton was a class above. Halmosi was also a better wide man. But he was a sweet player and a slip of a thing. Did well to endure the rigours of pro football in those days. Very sorry to hear of his death. Part of one of my favourite line ups and times at Argyle...., Newman, Williams, Lord, Jennings, even Fulton. The fog of passing time and memory. It was another age. Great stuff.

| Those 3 were excellent as well, problem with Barrie Jones was he was too good for the rest of the team but Nicky Jennings is always upper most in my mind.
Argyle have had some excellent wingers over the years, Dave Corbett was a particular favourite, Hugh Macauley, Gary Nelson et al |

| I guess wingers hold a particular place in fans' affections. I remember a couple of occasions when Nicky Jennings got clattered and the crowd made sure the full back never did it again. That was in the days when Home Park really was a fortress in comparison to our away form.. Took them a week to get here. |

| Another boyhood hero departs, bad week after the passing away of Ali. Great little player- criminally undersold to Pompey, where he had a pretty distinguished career with Norman Piper and Richard Reynolds, ended up at Exeter.
RIP Nicky |

| If there is one "good" thing about threads like this is that I love reading about people who watched players before I was born.....I have an idea for the close season. |

| Whilst Barrie Jones, the marquee signing, was beating himself 10 times young Nicky was flying directly down the left wing, he can't have been that old surely 'twas only yesterday he were a slip of a lad RIP |
