| So, Brent has had enough time to work out his League 1/League 2 budgets by now. It's June already. So, one would assume Adams has been given the go ahead to sign up those players he wants to keep within the week. It would be the right thing to do. But who knows with this Brent character. Maybe he'll want Adams to stay his hand for the early Summer to save a few bob. |

| Did you watch the game today Angers? My list after watching that display would run to about 4 players, good league 2 players will keep us in league 2, I was saying it at the start of the season it should be obvious to anybody now, clear the cloggers out. |

| Reuben Reid offered a new contract? But I thought he'd signed a pre-contract with Pompey. Surely not another bit of wild speculation dressed up as fact? |

Mellor played pretty much every game of the season, in one of the best defences in the league. You can't get rid of a guy just because of one mistake. Bittner makes no sense though, especially as Dorel has also been offered a contract, surely he is the replacement for Bittner as reserve GK? |

We don't do wild speculation on here. Every rumour is 100% guaranteed, the source is unimpeachable. Like Curtis Nelson leaving in January for example. Similar for next season then, plus the loan players Adams will have to bring in to supplement the squad. Lord James not really pushing the boat out is he? |

| Let's recount it correctly, shall we Sir Frank never suggested Nelson was leaving in January, more that a pre nuptual had been signed. We shall see shortly if Nelson decides to take up the club's offer or gets wed somewhere else in the Summer. Likewise, we shall see where Roobs rests his dodgy old knees shortly. Argyle can offer what they want, Reid doesn't have to accept, and of course, they wouldn't be aware of any touching up by the likes of Portsmouth. Reid's comments would suggest a few players slinging their hooks elsewhere. And of course, it's totally up to them, given they will be free agents |

Bittner makes no sense though, especially as Dorel has also been offered a contract, surely he is the replacement for Bittner as reserve GK? One mistake perhaps can be overlooked but he has been a weak link for most of the season he certainly wouldnt be offered a new deal if we went up thats for sure. Bittner does make sense as the Emergency loan window is no more so having him registered as a player while doing his coaching gives us some emergency cover incase anything happens to dorel or mccormick. |

| Reid's comments may just refer to the loan players who are returning to their clubs. They played a big part in the 'threadbare' squad so it is inevitable it will break up, just to what degree is the question |

| Could be. His comments could also be part of him negotiating a higher wage. No one really knows except the player and his agent. But things have been rumbling for the whole season since the Portsmouth manager spoke out of turn. |
