What a thoroughly objectionable post this is. No wonder you don't want anyone from Pasoti seeing this site.

But anyway, if I may clarify a few points.

I first suggested that we have a beer on the old site a few months back. I suggested that if we all acted our age instead of our shoe size we might get past our petty squabbles. I then suggested it again last week but it appears that my comment was seen as a "cleverly worded" threat by some on pasoti. This was cleared up and I fully intend to meet up with the mod I discussed it with in the autumn for a friendly beer.

And just to clarify my position, I do not intend to put my job at risk by having a scrap with someone because they deleted a signature of mine on a website. Its just a website at the end of the day.

At the same time I have seen 2 posts by you towards Rickler that can be quite clearly taken as physical threats. There is no way the above can be seen as "cleverly worded". I would also be interested to see how the libel laws interpret you calling Rickler a "nonce". But Rickler is big enough to fight his own battles so I will leave that there.

If the above from you is a threat, and one aimed at me by association, then I think you need to have a lie down and reconsider your position. But if you want to "get it on" with me then could you clarify your position so that I know what to expect when I do attend a fans fest?

And thank you for the offer of booking us a table at the fans fest, but seeing as Ricks is already bringing dinner it would be wasted.

I never deleted your signature, I'll look you in the eyes and tell you that.

Thanks for the reply.

I believe you about deleting the signature - and its not a big deal and I didn't think it was you anyway.

Your battles with Rickler have been going on for years so there is not much I can add to that - I think its best that you two sort it out.

I can understand that Tring's comment could be taken the wrong way.....but only if you think that our squabbles are actually going to end in fisticuffs. I didn't take it as a serious comment when Tring posted it. I certainly have no intention of forming a "gang". I do intend to meet up with Gob and have a beer but I don't expect Tring and Ricks to travel half way across the world to join us.

I respect your right to defend yourself and the fact that you are not banned from this site shows that others believe in that right too.

I saw the chat on that site between Cobi and you know who before it closed. The powers were not pleased at poor old Cobi's gung ho and freeform approach. They actually were then disappoined and SURPRISED that so many people upped and left... they really thought they could effect some sort of coup
