You could argue that we wouldn't be any worse of if we had folded and started again. We wouldn't have had pockets of land stolen from the stadium footprint or owed millions to 'the saviour' either.

Brent should still be feeling the heat regardless of whether we go up or not. That should change nothing. Brent is very bad news for the medium and long term future of Argo.

I agree. If we all take the specs off for a minute we scraped into this playoff final on the back of a rather shit run of results steaming back to January when the reluctant one wouldnt back del bhey in the transfer market when we were top of the league and 5 points clear.

Don't think so somehow. Adams will bear the brunt of the criticism, just as he did during Argyle's second half of the season semi slump. Probably be a few dissenters but i'd be very surprised if the inquest centred, for the most part, around anyone else apart from Adams.

That all depends, doesn't it?

Those of us old enough to remember the Burnley play-offs will recall they went on to Wembley to play a very powerful Stockport side (that sounds very anachronistic now, doesn't it!, but they were). Stockport cracked under the pressure and had two players sent off (one for spitting as I recall) and Burnley walked it 3-0.

Now I'm not saying that that will happen to us but if it did where would the blame in the closed season lie? No matter what Brent's short-comings as owner are he'd be off Scot-free.

Starting to feel very nervy about Monday now.

I don't really care what happens on Saturday, unless in some way the result hastens the end of the current regime.

Going to Wembley, for old times' sake but won't be attending any further Argyle matches home or away until the stench of self interest and self promotion has left the club.
