Why are people feeling the need to be kind and congratulatory ? The whole thing has been as much for himself as it is for the club.

The man is a domineering headcase. All opposition must be silenced.

It wouldn't be so bad if he was intelligent and understood the club and its history/potential but he doesn't.

He's a thick janner. He won't change. He won't compromise and agree to differ.

I have tried but he and Pasoti are not for changing.

It will go on and on and on.

The only club I have supported and wanted the very best for, is in the mess it's in in part because of the likes of Newell and his, 'I'll never hear a bad word said about that man and his lovely family', stance and gleeful silencing of dissenting voices on Pasoti.

With the way he and his type have wormed their way into a lower league club run by a non footballing property developer suggests to me that the next decade at least, can be written off.

Say what you like about the guy Tring, but he's a brilliant manipulator!

I do however think he's bitten off a hell of a lot more then he can chew over the past month and things are surfacing that he's very uncomfortable with, why else has PASOTI become so paranoid and unbelievably censured, why has this site boomed and why have I had to empty my pm box 3 times over the past few days. Things are changing, that's for sure.

He has a few dozen, maybe even a few hundred local dead heads who will always worship him because that is what they do. No thinking required. Just grin and say 'quality Ian'.
That and control over Pasoti is enough for his power base.
Very sad for Argyle.Lower league offal and proud.

Sorry folks but this site is just to negative and just about all threads lead to the same topic, IJN and co. If you wish this site to grow and be taken seriously as a football related forum you are going to have to try and refrain from all the bitterness and feuding regardless who or is or isn't at fault. Pasoti has the edge over you at present in as far as they are a far more established forum but it also has it's faults. To much negativity folks, to much negativity. Goodbye and Good luck. COYG.

And you know the reasoning behind the name how funnyman, knecht or game player, and by the way Tring I have no leader or allegiance to any forum, life is quite simply to short nor am I that blinkered or self adouring as a few on here.

Just seen on the memberlist we have an Ian Newell who has been registered for over a year and not made a single post however has logged in today. The least he could do is make his first post a thank you to us all for our kind words..... Very Happy lol!

Or maybe the mods should delete his account, surely having members who haven't posted atall is clogging up the system..? lol!

Yep, to a degree.

But just to keep it real, without 'Nikkk', the £60k would be closer to £6k.

Fantastic in his generosity, of that there can be no doubt. Though the auctions weren't really that were they? Nikkk paid (rediculously over the odds) exactly what he wanted for each piece, which made it all a bit of a farce really.

But yes, a very generous farce.

Well done Nikkk. sunny

Well done to Ian Newell for raising money for the staff fund.

Well done to Adolf Hitler for building a good road system in Germany.

My inspiration for starting this thread was really to show the rest of PASOTI that ATD is not just solely here to knock PASOTI whether anyone can be bothered to get past Tring and Co. jumping on every single thread to turn it anti-Newell remains to be seen. In the same way that "the farm" is boring by turning everything into a fan's fest this site is boring to the same extent just a different viewpoint. I guess if a couple of posters don't wish to see this site develop into the all inclusive debating house that it is held up to be then they won't allow it will they?

Debate what you like Iggy, and although I do sympathise with your view slightly I suspect that you were well aware that your original post would have sparked an emotional response considering the ill feeling that has been/is hanging over us. In fact, I think anyone with a logical and reasoned mind would say that you purposely posted it for the reason of antagonism and to promote ill feeling unless you've been living in a non Argyle Internet world recently and missed out on the "goings on".

That said, from a great many pm's and from what I gather from others, I think the world is now aware of the characteristics of one or two and that's what I have always wanted to achieve, so you may notice a more relaxed attitude from me unless this site once again comes under attack from one or two individuals or to set records straight. If track records are anything to go by, then it's only time!

That'll be 220 members and falling fast. The name 'Guest' is appearing on the left hand side more and more often. People are getting sick to death of EVERY thread turning into anti Pasoti, IJN, Webb.
Answer this. When everyone else is gone and it is only the select few left, what will you talk about?
I think it's time for the Mods of this site to sit up now, 'cause people will leave in droves in a minute.
