| Rashford!
No Andy Carroll.
Only 3 x CBs.
Are we carrying any crocks that I'm not aware of?
We could win this damned thing - that's the best squad we've had in years. |

| Yeah I'd have found a place for Carroll, offers something different, wins everything in the air and terrifies defenders. |

| Being as I don't follow premier/championship football at all, I've only heard of ten of those players. Have seen a few clips of Kane and Vardi, good stuff, and have seen a bit of Wilshere, who seems to have flattered like Rooney as a youngster, only to disappoint. Good to see that Arsenal forward sidelined . What a bore he is. Almost impossible to follow football if you don't watch the TV / do Radio 5, or buy the papers. But I like Woy, so I wish him well, just as I wish Adams well at Argyle. I wonder if I'll watch any of it at all, having fallen out of love with the game, apart from a lingering link with Argyle, once Brenty slings his hook. Funny how emotions change over a lifetime. |

| I'm over there for a week mid-tournament. Though sadly doubtful it'll be at any of England's matches. |

Daft fuckers. If 1998 is anything to go by, then the Game in Marseille with the ever-so-welcoming North African contingent will be the biggest flashpoint. |

Some of the above is pretty much where i be. I will watch the tournament, it always throws up a surprise. Gerrmany, France and Spain have got to be up there as favourites to win the thing. As for England, i would be happy if they can get to the Semi-Finals ?. Northern Ireland might do ok, Wales not so. |

| 23 man squad for Euwo's...
Goalkeepers: Joe Hart (Manchester City), Fraser Forster (Southampton), Tom Heaton (Burnley).
Defenders: Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Chris Smalling (Manchester United), John Stones (Everton), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur), Ryan Bertrand (Southampton), Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), Nathaniel Clyne (Liverpool).
Midfielders: Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur), Ross Barkley (Everton), Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), James Milner (Liverpool), Raheem Sterling (Manchester City), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal).
Strikers: Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Jamie Vardy (Leicester City), Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United).
Can see us scoring a few but when/if we get to the business end of the tournament we'll concede too many, not good enough defensively imo. |

| I would have taken Drinkwater in the place of Whilshere who is Darren Anderton reborn for injuries or Henderson.
I see England reaching the semis at best. |

| The Italians just know how to win don't they, far from the best team they've had down the years but a team nonetheless, in every sense, organised, shrewd, committed and with ingrained tournament nous, write them off at your peril.
Could one of the mods please move this thread to the Euro board. |
