First friendly of new season is

Torquay

Argyle will prepare for the 2016/17 season with a trip to Devon neighbours Torquay United.

The game will take place on Saturday, July 16 (3pm)

Nice. Be good to have a practice run for when the real season starts

And probably Bideford, Tavy and Saltash. Only Argyle under Brent could announce a pre-season tour with no hotels or flights booked let alone any opposition sorted.

Will we have any players under contract to play said friendlies or will it be five a side using an extension to some of the loanees?

We probably won't even have a manager to sign anyone as Del Boy scarpers back up the A38 as fast as he can.
