Sadly, the entire bank holiday weekend has been given over to the famous pagan pastime of cleaning and general maintenance of house, gardens and motor pale

Yep, a good old Pagan knees up. I welcome in the Summer at the oss along with mid summer, mid winter at various stone circles etc. Marking the seasons is essential for the soul. You can't keep nature down.
It's still a great day 'Amster. Might be extra popular this year being bank holiday. Shame it's the year they don't do it on the First. Often cycle down the Camel at dawn from either Bodmin or Wadebridge. getting back tends to be a wobbly affair Laughing  I shall be there as usual. We'll have to meet up for a pint 'amster.  Laughing

No worries from this end as I'm quite normal if you look me in the eyes like a real mate. pig All these kinds of events are great I remeber as a kid a similar OSS type event in Barnstaple too far back to remember if it was Mayday and I don't know if it's still going, Minehead also had a similar thing back along.

Hope you caught Phat Bollard doing their mayday thing by Chough's, 'amster.
I was sadly back on the horse this morning at 7.30am, and could have done with taking things easy.

Had an irritating end to a good day as my rather ludicrously inebriated friend fell off her bike on the camel trail on the way home. I had to virtually carry and then dump her back at base camp and return to pick up the bikes. Mayday and drink. Proper Job in the London did for her. Why can't people pace themselves  and concentrate on the matter at hand ?

I think I saw you post accident? Woman having her wrist bandaged, late afternoon? I was in the London as well had a good old sing song, had a cracking day.
If Phat Bollard were the surfer/hippy band by Choughs then yes I did, their busker song was quality, I did enjoy the irony of the Rockites singing along to anti capitalist songs. Very Happy
