Haven't seen anything on this recently, but a quote from James Brent stating that a number of clubs are intereted in Matt Lecointe-

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

"There has been interest in Matt and it's fairly well documented that the administrator was trying to sell him because being a youth-team player he could be sold whereas everyone else was fortunately locked in by the transfer window," he said.

"He is someone who is very highly regarded by the manager and it's the manager who forms a view and makes recommendations.

"Matt is someone who has done very well for us and I hope he continues to do very well for us in three, five or seven years' time."

Lecointe is without a doubt one for the future, but Brent saying "Matt is someone who has done very well for us and I hope he continues to do very well for us in three, five or seven years' time." is a bit silly I doubt he will be an Argyle player in 12 months time.

It's got "sell him" written all over it, strand by for the usual "we can't hold a player back" nonsense.
