In percentage terms our attendances have improved more than anybody else in the division.

Fag packet maths time. 8721x23 home games is 200853. Assuming an average of £15 per head ( and yes I know here are season ticket holders, kids and all sorts of concessions to consider, but I reckon when all taken into consideration, £15 is rightish ) then the ticket income alone comes to £3,008,745.

Add on tv money, commercial Income, shop sales, and I would suggest we've got a turnover in the region of £4 million.

The salary management protocol allows for player wages to equate to 55% of turnover. In cash terms that should be in the region of £2.2 million.

Does anyone seriously believe that the current wage bill is anywhere near that, either as a cash sum or a percentage of turnover?

That 55% is easly got around didnt Man city set up fake sponsorships to boast there income so they could bascally afford any wage if remember rightly..but cant remember the punishment they got but i do remember they even sponsored the team bus..lol

My point is that even without any false inflation the amount available to spent on wages is a huge amount and, in my view, far more than is currently being spent.

If you overpay into your pension, you can retire early. Just saying like. Not that I'm implying anyone individual is building up their pension pot on the coattails of Argo.

PS:How long does it take to get a letter from a solicitor threatening to sue for implied wrong doing with someone else's money?

I'm fairly sure that Starnes has quoted each punter paying £11 on average but this will rise with a greater percentage of pay on the day fans.

The attendance figures will be interesting for next season, given we could be scrabbling around the lower half of league 2,with another pound on the gate.

PAFC......... since Hull city moved onwards and upwards, remains the largest city club and catchment area in England, never to have made the step up. With a proper football owner, a decent stadium and top flight football in view, we'd be on a par with clubs like Swansea , Norwich  and Southampton.

Wish i had a quid for the number of times I've said that................ Have i heard right, that 'potential' is a dirty word at the club these days ? If so, that justifies endless bucket rattling, Avivas in tents and a lack of any cash backed ambition.......................yet still they can't understand why the city and region won't buy into the cringeworthy village show
