| Crikey, didn't James Brent buy it for £1? Not a bad percentage increase if true. |

That's my day sorted then. I'm going to buy something in Poundland, stick it in a drawer and forget about it for a few years and then sell it for a few million. Easy money. |

Wonder much the car park would be worth with PP for an ice rink? |

| Imagine what Plymouth Argyle could do with access to funds like these? Just the Pavillions fee would pay for the Grandstand and the club would save £7.5m in interest on the loan repayment to silent Si and obviously the £5m capital repayment. Or we could keep the loan going refurb the Grandstand and spend the £5.5m on the squad Imagine that? Luckily for us we have a chairman who is a much bigger fan that someone like me who grew up in Plymouth and who has supported Argyle through thick and thin for over fifty years. No doubt soon Brent will prove us all wrong and do the decent thing. I was banned from pasoti for pointing out that Brent was a property developer and warned he would asset strip the club yet the bloke that banned me still doesn't see it, is he thick or is he in on the asset strip, very relevant questions I would have thought. |

And £2millon for providing continuous ice for ten years although that clause could be a millstone round his neck with his development record unless he could get away with a paddling pool full of water in a refrigerated container lorry? |

| Brent's record speaks for itself. Councils are slowly learning their lesson of having dealt with the snake. Pretty obvious why PCC didn't go to their main man LOL and have decided to try themselves to sell on the old Mayflower hotel site on the Hoe for development as AN HOTEL, which is what it should be there, so keeping private profiteers like Brent who keep changing the goalposts, out of the equation. Anybody can build sell on a site for a block of sea view apartments. My cat could make a million or two on that sort of open goal.
Somebody has to ensure town planning is kept away from the profiteers. |

| the new hotel to be built on the Mayflower site is going to be smaller than the block of flats the same developer is building next door, these can be bought 'off plan' right now, thus funding construction of flats and hotel, much like Brents modus...... |

A consultant would charge thousands for a business idea like that, and here you are giving it away for free. |

| I love some of the language they use, ai can't copy and paste from it but the bit that said something like, "the vertical access around the site should be celebrated in such a way to make the journey to the event almost as enjoyable as the event itself." |

For vertical access read "rather than pay for steps we'll give you ladders to get in and a big bouncy slide to get out again". Maybe with some glitter and stuff. |

| He is: "... Tony Hopwood, the Project Director at Akkeron Group, who will be able to give an insight on the Higher Home Park Plymouth development, of which the new Home Park grandstand forms a part."
It must be true; it is on the Baggo: https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2013/november/meeting-the-board/ |
