It’s the eve of the Pasotdam conference and our leaders assemble in Bobby’s Garden for a photo opportunity to commerate what’s surely going to be a great day ahead tomorrow.

On the left there’s Webbston Churchill, the head of the CPC whose bulldog spirit and never-say-Argyle-will-die leadership ensured that the Heany Hun got his marching orders.

The war may be over but Webbston knows there are still battles to be fought if Argyle aren’t to fall into conflict with Ebbsfleet et al, and we’ll see him marching at the front of his specially-assembled team of crack singers on match days. Bravo, Webbston!

Taking centre stage is Harry ‘Potter’ Brentman of the United Hotels Of Akkeron, whose late intervention in the administration war ensured the gates of Home Park stayed open. Does that twinkle in Brentman’s eye suggest he has pleasant surprises in store for the rank and file supporters at tomorrow’s summit? If yesterday’s announcement that General Wotton has been recalled from the League One frontline to assist in the relegation battle, then surely it does!

Finally we have the de facto leader of Cyberiaspace, Joe Noolin. Joe’s authoritarian style and lack of tolerance towards dissent may be unpopular in some quarters but his auction-orientated version of the Marshall Plan, run in association with the GT Bloc, has ensured our brave staff have had food in their bellies and petrol in their tanks! But the question on everyone’s lips is, will Noolin use tomorrow’s summit to announce he’s going to erect a Norton Curtain of security encryption software around official Argyle Cyberiaspace? Let’s hope not!

Whatever happens tomorrow, it’s sure to be summit special…
