Oh, ok, fair enough, its actually good for the whole area for us to A be doing Devon proud and B making cica 130K so far, but then, argyle dont really need any extra money so i understand you dont care/green with envy

And to Think Man U away with a tag of around a million pound would go nicely towards making the away step better while they are doing the new Grandstand in the summer...... hows your New stand coming along?

Good old Huge, always way behind the curve.

Nice draw with the added advantage of the potential for an upset, let's face it, if the Mags can beat them anyone must be in with a chance.

Nice few quid, Tw@sdale will be sporting a new tw@ hat.

Lets hope the tie is switched to Sandy Park for the sake of Exeters loyal two thousand fans, no one outside of Devon should have to look at the Sid Hole on national telly for two hours, the damage done to the reputation of the fair city of Exeter will be devastating.

Fortunately Suffers we know who we are and are perfectly happy for the world to see a load of bin dippers standing in the rain, especially if a fair few of them have traveled up the A38 for the day.

I have to say I am comparatively underwhelmed, when we drew Man Utd at home in 1969 I struggled to sleep for the weeks before the game, a function of age I suppose and the sanitising effect of the removal of the Cowshed from the equation, still, the knobbers over of Euuuuweb can spend the next few weeks droning on about the allocation of tickets.

Blimey. Klopp will have witnessed the full 'opposite ends of the spectrum' experience. Full house of 80,000+ at the Westfalenstadion, to a full house of about 8,000 at Exeter.  Laughing

Joking aside that is a great draw for City. Almost certain to be televised too.

Typical that in my whole Argyle attending life, since '78, I'm pretty sure we've never draw the traditional big two of Liverpool or United in any of the cups. We've played everyone else but never them. Any statto recall the last meeting of Argyle v Liverpool/ManU?

Looking at Greens on Screen I don't think we've played Liverpool in any cup. Last played them in 1962 in Div 2.

http://www.greensonscreen.co.uk/gosdb-results.asp?team=Liverpool&comp=&s1=&s2=

We played Man U in the FA Cup third round in 1974 and lost 1-0 at Old Trafford. Prior to that we played them quite a few seasons running in the 30's in Div 2.

Back on topic but a good draw for city. Their best result would be a draw and replay at Assfield and the money that would bring in.

Im not chuffed we lost the 1st round this year unlike a few argyle fans that where arrogantly tweeting and posting tuff likw is anyone really bothered we lost just means we can focus more on the league to give just one example.

the money would have been nice but its not like Del Bhey would have seen a penny of it.
