| Doesn't the sodding Highway Code apply to them, nearly knocked one off today outside the Railway Station, he flashed me one of those "aren't I more superior than you Cos I ride a bike" looks, as he pedalled the wrong way down a one way street FFS. |

| I`am a cyclist and a car/van driver all road users are as bad as each other. Cyclists jumping red lights really get my goat and being cut up in a bus lane by a bus is a real fecker when on my bike. |

| Cyclists do royally get on my tits. But so do car drivers (generally the ones right in front of me) who insist on not overtaking them, when the cyclist is struggling to do about 15 mph. |

| I also am a regular van driver/keen cyclist/pedestrian.
Does the highway code and the LAW not apply to motorists in Plymouth ? 90% of motorists continually speed in the inner city, and couldn't give a monkeys, day in, day out. Do they not realise there are pedestrians about, especially kids ? Do they realise how dangerous their speed is for pedestrians ? Bleddy Clingons. |

| Oh I forgot another bugbear. The old classic, a pair of cyclists out on the road two abreast, having a chat as they go along totally oblivious to what or who is around or behind. |

| I drive them big smelly 44 tonners for a living. I see the same old shit every day of the week. It's got to the point where I know what some wack-job is going to do on the road even before they do (it's a knack, and I'm good at it!). As always there's a few, or in some cases, more than a few, who give the majority a bad name. It doesn't matter anymore anyway. There's so few traffic police about, you can virtually do what you want and almost be guaranteed to get away with it. Of all of the things that grip my shit, it's text/driving. Have a look at (mainly) youngsters driving around. They seem to be looking down at their legs/lap. You can almost guarantee they're looking down at their phone. I could go on about driving, driving standards, what get's my goat, etc, but I think the keyholders would have to contact Forum Motion to buy some extra server space. Meh, what do I know. |

Running red lights, wrong way down one way streets, undertaking especially bad when your turning left, 2 or 3 abreast, it's fecking endless, I know car drivers are not immune to poor driving but a fecking cyclist ignoring the Highway Code is more likely to get their self killed than me sat in my car. Just ride with due care and read the fecking Highway Code that's all I ask FFS |

Make every road user take some sort of competency test before they're allowed to inflict themselves on other road users. And like every other road user, cyclists should have proper insurance. Oh, and grown men wearing Lycra is just criminally stupid. |

| Do you actually need to know the highway code to learn that you are not supposed to cycle straight through a red light..... as if it doesn't include you to stop as well........or to speed down pavements zig-zagging dangerously in and out of pedestrians. |

Oh, a wearing Lycra is just criminally stupid. Agreed. I do chuckle though when you see some goon togged up like he's about to start the Tour De France, when he's on his way to a night shift at Ginsters. |

| Overtaking a cyclist was never a problem when Graisers mate from Crapstone (good 'ole Lil) was out pedalling. Blocked both lanes |

Many a time bicycle/car incidents have caught on the cyclist's helmet camera, leading me to think that some riders may go out of their way to provoke motorists. I rode a bike to work for many a year without once experiencing problems with fellow road users. |

I rode a bike to work for many a year without once experiencing problems with fellow road users. There's a guy on YouTube who does exactly this. He wears a head-cam and rides around looking for problems and inciting situations with other road users when there isn't a problem if everyone minded their own business and got on with getting to where ever they're going to. He's a complete and utter cuunt and should set himself on fire with immediate effect. |

| So, cars don't have dash cams then ? I can't believe you lot, cyclists are the devil it seems, fascist even, with the lubberly motorist the innocent victim. It's threads like this that reminds me this is a football fans' forum. And as for cyclists needing insurance, In that case, all of us pedestrians need insuring too, as we don't half cause a lot of problems for the poor old innocent motorist crawling around obeying the law, driving like model citizens. While walking on the pavement we should be forced to wear high viz jackets or face arrest. As an aside, I quite like the modern kerb less roads in the Plymouth centre. Gives the right subconscious messages when pedestrians and motorists meet. Slow down. !! It works. |

Sod the dash cams and any other cam, obey a red light, don't undertake, cycle the right way down a one way street and we'll all get along fine |
