Still half asleep as that policeman said going through a red traffic light. Did a quick google has hadn't heard that name mentioned previously but Chris Evans was talking of it back in July apparently. He'd be top name no question. He'd probably require salary equaling Evans' though I would have thought ?? |

| Such a shame Honda couldn't provide a decent engine will be a sad day if he does retire but cant blame him. Looks like I'm gonna have to follow will Stevens now.... |

| Very much doubt he will give up f1 to go join top gear. if anything he will most likely go into the world of FIA Endurance Championship racing first.
Top gear alone wouldnt play a part if he does decide to quit and i agree with jethro you couldnt blame him given how poor mclaren have been in recent years and there treatment of him last year. |

| i think the real reason for button leaving is all down to money. Mclaren can`t afford his wages, they have no major sponsor and this years piss poor performance will result in very little price money. They will probably go with vandoorne or magnussen |

thought he wouldnt call it a day just yet. Hopefully Honda will develop a far better engine and power unit for McLaren so Button can have one final season with a more competitive car. |
