| Good finish. Nice layoff by Brunt, who's impressed me. I had seen him as a blunt instrument, but he's had some nice touches (as well as some horrible ones!) |

| It appears the whole Adams/Carey/Wylde/Jervis thing has been a fortuitous find. A ready made group who know what success is all about. If Argyle don't look like going up automatically by the turn of the year, I think we can already say Carey is far too good for this level and will be off as quick as a quick thing. I wonder if Carey has ever had such a free role in a team. On course for 30 in a season. Unheard of, and impossible for a midfielder. Teams will soon be clamping down on him. |

| Decentish crowd in, I'd guess about 8,000. And I think the best thing you can say about Brunt's performance is that we've not missed Reid at all. |

| We need another one before Ansah buries one, knew I should have had a flutter on him scoring. |

Sounds very suspicious. Mind you, i suppose cynicism is just a natural reaction for people like us when so much water has passed under the bridge over the years as regards the sale of key players. We'll see. Yep injured my arse! Jimmy will start to panic if he thinks Promotion is a possibility i fully expect Rubes to be sold. |

| Carey is going to be like soap in wet hands to keep hold off come January if he continues to impress at this level... He is too good for this league.
Good game still think we need to work on defending counter attacks and putting away easy shots at goal but we are looking very strong and impressive as a unit which will only serve us well going forward this season..
On a side note far too many coppers at this game do they get paid bank holiday weekend rates or something? |

He certainly seems to be a find. Excellent work by DA. He is a star player Yourself, ChemicalAli, FrankBullitt and SufferedSince68 must be gutted you predicted 1-1. It could have been a clean sweep today.

You stated 1-1 in the prediction. So? Presumably you'll be pointing out every incorrect forecast from now on or am I misunderstanding your point? |

Have amended the original post to suggest that you must be gutted that it ended 1-0. Four of you let the side down, it was looking like a clean sweep at one stage. I do not think that since I began this that we have had everyone getting points. And i only got around to writing all the predictions down and awarding points just after the final whistle, just a useless ATD prediction league stat really. |

Long may it continue, it makes a welcome change. I did not feel like going really, I knew Argyle would get a result. Just a tad bored with football at the moment. |

Where is Freathy these days? Only appears when Argyle are losing. |

Gone from being a one man team to anything but in the space of a summer. Great stuff What you can't take away from Brunt is that he is an effective and excellent team player when surrounded by talent. I've been a big fan since he's been here, and glad he is impressing others as I never understood the criticism of him. He visibly tries his absolute hardest in every performance and helps to build good team moves. He may not have the touch and technique of Bergkamp, but if he did he wouldn't be in League Two. Brunt is often too much for L2 CBs to handle, when he comes off the pitch having given them a good physical battle and pulled their CBs apart (making space for others to exploit) then he has done his job. For me he has done exactly that virtually every time I have seen him play. |

Seem to remember that Tring is usually absent for a while at this time of year, in transit between Cyprus and the UK. |
