If pre-season and the first game on Saturday is anything to go by, (albeit yes ironically after a clean sheet) then defensive is the last thing you could describe Argyle this season. Shez set his stall out by building from the back. Adams seems a totally different kettle of fish. Have you had a glance at our goals from Saturday Tis? Couple o' nice ones. Especially the first. |

I did, you have to place that alongside the knowledge that the Wombles seem to have carried their awful end to last season into this one. Pompey looked v good agin the Dags so perhaps this season's Dockyard derbies might be more than a tussle to be the best of the rest leading to play off disappointment. As the old saying points out, one swallow doesn't make a blow job, or something like that, great to have the footy back though. |
