I was there and Tanner gave Sawyer who is a very solid left-back option for the lower leagues a hell of a torrid time.
Didn't shine at AFC Wimbledon last season but perhaps they used him as a striker. Have a feeling we may be pleasantly surprised by this one.

I think he's probably better there. His scoring record isn't suited to a striker and he gave Sawyer a tough old game there in the friendly.

so i guess he can play on the right wing

I think Tanner is assistant to M in the new Bond movies. Played by the great Roy Kinnear's son.

The Fans' Trust have a James Bond connection. Odd job. ..arf I would guess Adams was taken by this chap. That's probably worth more than anything else, as long as we forget Bobby swooning over Chadders when he played against us. Are new incoming Scot managers a bit off the pace ? Good luck to the newcomer. I seem to remember Sawyer was easy to take to the cleaners though. He always looked the part with his physical rhythm, and ability to do the basics, but not much else. Talking of else, what is the else connection with Tanner ? ..... Yawn

Here's something for you Paven. Woolworths was the original sixpenny store, and of course whatever that was in America. So, Poundland taking over the old Woolies store in Plymouth is kinda apt. Woolies went down the tubes because they lost the plot and sold not much else in the end but salt and sugar. I have noted Poundland are already beginning to make the same mistake.
