| I am going to this one, taking the little grandson on his first away game. He order fish and chips for his evening meal. Should we have it in Paignton or Torquay?

does it matter where its the same meal at the end of the day Some sell white fish instead of cod, some fish shops in Plymouth Barbican awful better to keep away from them. So it better to ask where to go. |

| One on Barbican got caught and fined
A CHIP shop owner sold a cheaper fried river fish from Asia and pretended it was cod, a court heard.
Nicholas Achilles has been fined £4,000 and ordered to pay £1,500 costs for selling the Asian river fish panga instead of cod in Plymouth's historic Barbican.
Plymouth magistrates heard that he sold hundreds of fried panga portions advertised as cod from the Platters takeaway yards from the home of the city's fishing fleet. Never been near since |

| It the way it cooked and prepared, what oil/fat, batter and potatoes used, if it cooked fresh.
Two shops together
Harbour side and Barbican fish shops you try both and see (taste) the different.
Best one for me in Plymouth Perillas

1-0 in the 01-02 championship season. Friio scored Pointage at its finest that afternoon. It wasn't pretty but it certainly was effective. |

| (What a good old-fashioned hi-jack this is)
Had my first flat just round the corner from Benbow St chippy about 25 yrs ago. Portions were proper 'laugh out loud' huge. Quality of spud was poor though.
My top 3 Plymouth chippys would be...
West Park chippy - a good all rounder Harbourside (Southside St) great flavour, good portion size West Hoe chippy - very tasty but smallish portions. |
