| Great stuff, still makes me chuckle when people think Ryan Brunt is anywhere near his level. |

Why be comparative? Completely different types of striker. Brunt got a few goals last season when he had some game time and will probably be an impact sub this season, but to compare him to Reid is just ridiculous. |

Bruntinho gives 100% at all times and gives his all to his teammates, rather than sulking and stropping when defenders are marking him and things aren't going his way. The playoffs would have been a pure embarrassment without Brunt, it really would have. Without him nothing looked remotely like sticking. And yetsome ignorant supporters talk about him like he's awful. |

He's good in the air, strong and has got a few goals for us - definitely a part to play for him. However.. When you see people who would drop Reid for him then it's just something I don't understand. They're just very different, both in style and ability. For example look at their comparitive technical ability.. Brunt has absolutely nothing. Even against Elburton his technical control of the poor was (as usual) very poor. But I do still think there's a part to play for him, definitely. |

| Did you see his goal against Wycombe? Not bad technique at all. Utterly dominant in the air which is a tremendous advantage alongside the likes of Reid and hopefully Jervis who are capable of 20+ goals.
Brunt is not a crap player whatsoever and could easily start up front in a front two or three with our current squad options, depending on the philosophy of the management. |
