I'm sure Graham's a witty chap, but his pasoti posts are generally dry, factual, interesting and also manage to put Newell back in his place in the most polite way possible. Along with Mr Lloyd and the much missed Tyhee Slim, Graham's posts on pasoti are amongst the few that I make a point of reading. I have always tried to base my contributions on the facts and draw attention to matters that may pass people by. My last substantive post on Pasoti reiterated my concerns about the timing of the Fans Forum and the fact that even allowing for the new Far Post replacement something like 95% of Argyle fans attending games had nowhere to meet, drink and socialise before and after matches. Something I have been banging on for ages. Despite several reads my comments did not draw a single response, positive or otherwise.
My initial conclusion, and not for the first time, was that I was out of step with popular opinion. However, several people have come up to me since and said they agreed with what I have said and were pleased that I had raised the issues that I had.. I was surprised and perplexed and could only conclude that it wasn't me that was out of step with a site that used to be the bellwether or barometer of informed opinion and debate, notwithstanding it is still read regularly in high places. Now, regrettably, it appears more to be the comfortable residence for self-serving kneejerkers and smart phone juveniles and wannabees. It seems I am not alone in that view. Some of my favourite away days are those where the host club have a social club where you can enjoy a couple of pints beforehand. Wimbledon (real ones Elias) are always welcoming, as are D&R. One of the bonuses if you ever go and watch non-league football. |

It comes to something when one as level-headed, diplomatic and fair-minded as GC draws that conclusion.
Damning. Some of us realised what was happening to Pasoti, seven or eight years ago. Even the baba, the herb and others were happy singing when winning and were either unaware or unconcerned at the cleansing of dissenting voices. At last, everyone bar the dim, the young and the wannabes, can see clearly that Napoleon's Farm is a tool for protecting the owner, in return for seats in the Directors' Box. |

| Very interesting comments from both John Lloyd and Graham Clark. I don't think either of them could be described as a "freak" or a "weirdo", and neither of them play to the audience on ATD.

| I have always made time to read and usually enjoy Graham and John's comments, not that I would always agree with them. At least on this site, if you don't agree, at least you don't get electronically mugged by the Mario brothers. Listening to Graham or John is like taking a headache pill when the locals have given you a migraine. |

| Given the subject matter that Graham normally discusses, it's rather a challenge to be witty. Similar to the charge of not being funny whilst giving a eulogy at a funeral.
Having said that... Graham has on many occasion given me occasion to smile with witty subtle comments directed at those that are rather more full of themselves.
Funny or not (and I suspect he is more in 'real life') Graham is probably the most 'important' poster posting on the two main sites. He seems to be the only one who truly understands what is going on - or not - with HHP.
God help us if he decides to give up posting! |

God help us if he decides to give up posting! Graham worked in the planning department of Plymouth City Council, he well up on the rules and regulations on planning. |

| Internet culture has moved on from the old forums. So much chat now funnels through facebook and twitter. Pasoti is a bit like the Bates hotel in Psycho, the new road has passed it by. Won't be long before the great dictator dons his mother's wig when dispensing thread justice.. |

Graham, most of the core posters left there are Fansfest and Senior Greens members and afraid to be pulled up as "not a pwarper fan" for questioning anything that happens at PAFC. When the site manager makes totally untrue snide remarks about multiple accounts, which he wasn't prepared to even try and substantiate it was time to give up. Hopefully I'm wrong about Brent but without any transparency we must stay vigilant and there are 1200 people on Argyle Free Chat Facebook group where questions are debated including defense from pro-Brent members. |

| I heard the word "megalomaniac" used by, probably, the most level-headed Argyle fan I know yesterday. I'm not about to name that person so don't bother asking but your first guess as to who he was talking about is probably true.
And even some of those I know who still either post on or read Pasoti were complaining, quite unbidden myself, about how boring it had become.
Still... That's the way they want it. |

| If you looking up pasoti on google the first 2 hits are for pasoti itself and the pasoti twitter page then there is an ebay page on umbrellas. The links after are for this thread and exeweb's "pasoti is dying' thread. |

Still... That's the way they want it. Don't be stupid, SFD. There are hundreds of nameless posters who read Pasoti (but don't post) who love pasoti the way it is. They don't contribute, and their existence isn't particularly verifiable, but it is really important to keep Pasoti dull, void of controversy or any kind of interesting debate, and immensely flattering to the chairman, which is exactly the way these imaginary people like it. |
