| You have to wonder considering he's got clear cut Admin, Mod and Ownership ability why he's allowed such a Catastrophic Post to remain considering the damage done....??
Massage and increase viewing figures of his dying forum can be the only reason explainable |

I love Tringy ? That was the hidden meaning dear chap. I think I remarked that who had unlocked the thread? And then just said 'oh dear' facepalm. |

| Everyone's got an adblocker installed on their browser now anyway haven't they? Surely very few people actually see any of their adverts. |

| I first encountered the Farm in 2001 when my Dad died, a devout Pilgrim, and my brother, who still posts there, wrote a tribute to him.
Death of a true Green.
Lost in one of the many "hacks" and thread burning incidents since yer man took charge. _______________________________________ COYG!

I remember the Newell v Hunter spats (and the digests! You knew "something was up" when three (each containing 25 posts) would arrive in your inbox within the space of 10 minutes). Not long afterwards Paul Hunter left - wonder what became of him? And what caused the dispute in the first place? I joined after it had apparently began and could never figure out the cause. |

Paul Hunter hasn't been online for years - maybe even 15 or so. Back in the day he was a genuine hooligan but was "old" by the time he started causing problems on the net. I was told that he was too "old" to be a hooligan so he did most of his aggro online. I remember a long running feud he had with an Argyle fan who claimed to live in San Francisco (Dave something or another) and Hunter claimed to have flown out to SF to meet him. In those days I don't think Pasoti had usernames - you just posted your name next to your post - so whether this "Dave" chap was genuine I don't know. |

| Probably not.
There was a spell when nearly everybody on Pasoti used "Dave" as their name. It was a faddy joke. |

Not so in recent times. It's been an ugly spectacle and a depressing one to view. It's largely why I've taken more than a few steps back in recent times.
My connection with PASOTI is nearly twenty years old, but apart from Close Season Survey posts, I've barely posted a handful of times in the last twelve months.
I would never have believed it possible to disengage from it so easily, but in the absence of genuinely interesting contributions from good people like the much-lamented Neil Jenkins, it hasn't been that hard at all.
That, in itself, is all that needs to be said about PASOTI in its current phase. So true this. It is sad to see the way Pasoti has declined as a forum in recent years, it now seems to be the plaything or self promoting vehicle of one person in particular and a handful of his lieutenants. Clearly he likes to be seen, loves to be heard and courts admiration, unlike the GTs who simply get on with what they do for the club expecting no thanks, no perks, no acclaim and no publicity. Looking at the main page today there was hardly a post from early evening onwards, it's just the same handful of posters regurgitating the same old arguments most of the time these days, in particular the repetitive Reuben Reid arguments. They can claim whatever figures they like but I take them with a pinch of salt, I mean seriously are there a thousand plus people tuned in during the night? Today's post from the Pasoti owner was utterly bizarre and I really cannot understand it's purpose, it smacked of some sort of paranoia. A person was named who had no right of reply and neither did anyone else for that matter with it's immediate locking. Anybody who chooses to post on here or the new Facebook page etc, is classed as a freak or weirdo when in reality both forums have a pretty good cross section of people on them. The fact that many of them are former disillusioned Pasotiites or Pasotiites who felt pushed out or banned even is neither here nor there really. Like others have mentioned previously I would have known nothing of ATD's existence if it hadn't been for Ian Newell's constant sniping about it on Pasoti and I would suggest that a strong majority of the members of this forum only became aware of it in the same way. Yes, he has certainly been ATD's biggest advertising tool since it was spawned which is deliciously ironic when he hates the site with a passion. That thread has now been unlocked LG being the first to comment will get under the cheerleaders skin even more. They don't seem to get on very well
He'll be bashing away on his keyboard very soon. Or his phone while he drives up the M5. We are on speaking terms. In fact I was planning on having a chat this evening at the PACSA evening at Bodmin Town FC. I see that my comment has now been removed and thread locked again. They should have just deleted the whole thread. Ah I didn't realise you were LG himself the king of hijacks Come come now, all the clues were there.... Oh good lord its him :O you still see the infamous Prodigal Green fella on that bananarama bus? |

Every now and then I remember random old names from Pasoti for no reason at all. Floyd Pepper Ursula the Skeleton Mario Lousy Pint Ziconess There must be hundreds of quiet but regular posters, who used to post from time to time for years and years, but just don't at all any more. |

He came good in the end. Had a big barny with Newell and deleted the fat dictator before deleting himself from the mod room. I think he became quite ill shortly after. I don't know his current situation. |
