Plan B
The one sure thing is that any new stand will be underwhelming, box the club in and a 750 cover function facility will no doubt be pigsearmarked to make the uninvesting owner money, not the football club.
Just be grateful for a club. Jeez wept According to Daz, James Brent has been a resounding success for Plymouth Argyle on the pitch, where it matters. Resounding success? We've basically gone from one half of the table to the other in about 4-5 seasons, with a top 2-3 attendance throughout that time, and we are still hardly a shoe in for promotion. Or packing the kind of playing budget that can reasonably expect promotion either. If Daz thinks JB has been a resounding success on the pitch, lord knows what kind of adjectives he'd have used to summarise Paul Stapleton's first 5 seasons at the club. |

I see pasoti are using independent adjudicators to decide who wins a copy of a book.
I wonder if the professionals at Camelot will be approached to do the draw? |

And particularly Wycombe and their attempts to separate the stadium from the club itself.
The odd photo standing at the back with a Wycombe trust person means nothing. As owners, they will be entertaining their opposite numbers. And of course, I've seen enough snaps of Corbyn recently to convince the planet he's the devil incarnate. Context is everything.
Indeed it is, my dear old thing.
Would you care to elaborate on where you believe Bob is heading ? Certainly Tringy. I believe Bob is heading down the path of not publicly criticising Brent Bob is heading down the path of being too late in getting between Brent and the stadium freehold. "We tried, but it just wasn't possible etc" Bob is heading down the path of endlessly rattling buckets and praising the harvest festival. I may be wrong, but that is my opinion. But, I don't think that photo proves anything. He's just chirping to a very very successful Trust. Bobbing around the DBox at Home Park would be quite a different matter of course. I assume that WILL happen. It's almost bound to, given his public comments to date. I just don't like out of context photos being used to tell stories that aren't true. It's something I have always disliked, as the process can be deployed on virtually anyone. It's a form of bullying, and I prefer not to be part of the baying mob culture that Barons covet. |

| I agree with your predictions of where Bob is heading. Photo or no photo.
You don't need a weather man (or a slightly out of context photograph ) to see which way the wind blows.
Corporate governance , with the participants knowing their place, is all the rage at HP these days.Jimmy won't tolerate non compliance, so surrounds himself with personally ambitious 'yes men'. |

| I tried to post on it, before realising it was locked. That sort of nonsense is why PASOTI is in decline, most people don't want to read that sort of stuff, a lot of people just want to talk about Argyle and have a laugh. Its depressingly insecure.
If PASOTI was doing that well there would be no need for that sort of post, and that is blindingly obvious to anyone with half a brain cell. Even on matchdays there is a lot lot less activity there. |

| I wonder if that Gideon Baker chap has the right of reply on Pasoti? Wasn't there some rule about not mentioning people who cannot post on their site?
Maybe Andrew Dodd can log back on today and tell us all about it? |

| He's losing the plot. Love it!
Do any pasoti sponsors want to advertise on Plymouth Argyle's fastest growing internet forum - ATD?
More contributors here, who post, come back, stay involved, don't log off, and don't get banned for getting on the wrong side of an owner and moderators with personality disorders...
NO hackers NO private investigators NO multis and shared accounts NO bullying campaigns NO corruption NO free PR for the chairman
ATD, Argyle's only independent forum!

| It wasn't long ago that Mr. Newell was a proper fan only seen on the terraces, he has managed to manoeuvre himself into a position now where he doesn't belong to the terraces or the director box, some going. I try not to get involved in the mudslinging but as I do quite a lot of corporate do,s as part of hubbies business I can't help but hear the comments directed towards him, I don't know anyone that likes him and Mr. Brent sees him as a useful thug, nothing more. I looked at pasoti but it was the diversity of posts and opinions on ATD that made me sign up here. |

Its like halfway through writing his latest paranoid and bitter rant he's remembered that he doesn't read this vile and libelous website. |

| Since he made that post I have been checking viewing figures and we have had quite a spike in people looking in. Have a guess at which part of ATD they have been on. | The only reason I heard about this place was because Newell kept mentioning it on Pasoti. He's done more advertising for this site than any other person. He sure does keep on giving It's also quite entertaining to know that this place is really getting under his old wrinkly skin |

So either (a) you're free to break any agreement with the Mods when it suits you without any fear of Mod reprisal or (b) giving your word to anything is worth no more than a cup of piss. That'll be good to know for future reference. So brave of you to lock the thread as well. |
