The Fans Forum seems to be stirring immense interest over on the Farm. About three people have confirmed they'll be there, with that Spanker from North Devon feeling the need to confirm he'll be there, twice. LOL.

I think I've spotted a trend on t'other side.

It's that each page seems to be much shorter than before.

Therefore each debate appears to last longer when it does no such thing.

ejh is spot on regarding the change in Pasoti in recent years. In the good days there was great debate and a string of diverse and very good posters without mods ganging up to try and silence any dissenters from the party line without all the if you dont like it you know what to do crap line that is constantly thrown about. The debates around the time of the "takeover bid" what was it about 10 or more years ago went on for weeks. Whether you were Freathy, Tring Green, PL2 or SFD in his former guise everyone could have their say without fear of repercussions or spurious libel sanctions. It was a real footy fans forum with football as the main debate with of course some great threads on Terraces as well which has virtually died a death now. It seems to be a few kids and mods posting mainly now and has become altogether sterile and boring.Even the amateur sleuth Tony whatsisname seems to have had enough though I think a lot of his posting was cos he saw a way into the inner sanctum at Home Park and when that went tits up little has been seen or heard of him since. All ADT needs is the Jockmeister back in less vengeful mood as he was a very funny and articulate poster under all the bluster. One final point I wish SFD would either name names or shut up about the backers on the other site.

Rather than taking the piss, shouldn't we be trying to help a fellow Argyle message board in their time of need?
