LOl..
In true de liar style, I can tell you the date that happened.
February 21st 2014.
Pasoti's user and guest numbers went from 11 and 87 to 25 and 355
I know because (I think) Oddball had been moaning about how dead ATD was, and comparing it to the farm...
So, I noted a few of the key statistics, beginning Feb 4th.
Mainly Pasoti had 642,437 posts and ATD had 180,328
I collected data for some time, but on Feb 14th, I realised it was going to get tricky as at the end of that day, Pasoti had 265 less posts than what they had started with? This despite having 60 users and now 300 guests...
I collected data until July 30th 2014: Pasoti 635651 ATD 207731
You will realise just how the Pasoti books are cooked if you look at the figures today...
Pasoti 609663 ATD 263148
In short... In order to track how each site is doing, a careful eye would need be kept on Pasoti daily to ensure that only figures before 'cl
eansing' are counted. I couldn't be arsed... |

| Pasoti has 5832 total members. 181 of those are currently online which equals 3% of their membership actually logged on. ATD has 658 total members. 48 of those are currently online which equals 7% of our total membership. |

| A thought just occurred to me. If it wasn't for you chaps mentioning the other side on here, I would have probably forgotten the place exists by now.
Just saying, please continue with your discussion. |

| Well said Richard. Any news re Argyle of any consequence, and that obviously doesn't include the back of the grandstand charidee grandstanding and handshaking, is always reported on here fairly quickly. I used to look very occasionally on the AFT website, but no longer bother there either. |

| That's true! The point is if there wasn't the odd piece over there to keep ATD amused a lot of us would have forgotten the site's existence. While they keep providing the ammunition I suppose this thread will continue to run.
When there hasn't been anything on this thread to talk about for a while is when we will know that they have finally bored everyone to death or the last poster with anything to say has either been banned or chased away. |

| With Porky banning anybody with more intelligence than he is then their is only one way for the site to go. |

That'll be why there's nothing single-celled registered on pasoti then. |

I thought he was green through and through With an extraordinary 11,618 posts (and that's just on the account with his name on, presumably he's got a few multis as well). And he calls us keyboard warriors? |

| Popped into Foxestalk yesterday for the first time in a long time, seeing as I am a member still from the Holloway days and they are doing so well now at the top of the Premiership. When we were both in the championship and Holloway scuttled off, when we had a team, Pasoti was half the size of FT. Now, under Pasoti's new counting procedure, L2 Pasoti is twice the size of Premiership Foxestalk. Who do they think they're kidding. Using a more reliable guide to usership, recent Pasoti/ATD posts since just after the season began show ATD contributions have climbed to 75% of that of Pasoti, quite incredible, given our perceived negativity. I didn't think it was that close. 6050 to 4650 posts. Mind you we have "Ivybridge"Pete and Zyph doing their thing, but Pasoti have similar nonsenses. By the way, Foxestalk have a stand off with a smaller forum called Bentley's Roof, with the same problems. Could be because they have a character moderating on FT called Babylon who's the authoritarian character spit of Nool and has caused the same split and grief. It's a parallel universe out there, I tell ya.. |

| Given that there are rarely more than 300-350 votes in any poll for man of the match or on any other topic, it's not hard to draw some conclusion about the real numbers of contributing members.
That's one reason I made sure that the Close Season Survey was promoted in as many channels as possible.
The Argyle diaspora can be reached in many ways, with traditional forums being just one of them. |
