IJN Posts: 14607 Sat Jun 13, 2015 6:51 pm I hope someone gets bollocked for that leak, I've just read on Twitter that Rhys Wilmot found out via Sparksy's tweet.
Why can't people who are privvy to such delicate information think before they leak such stuff

Sparksy tweeted with zero thought for those involved - guy should know better Sparksy out So now what are you saying..? Because Sparksy let the cat out of the bag it makes it pointless for the club to officially tell them? ...and Sparksy probably "thought" that those involved knew already. That would be normal protocal. This is a point you seem unable to comprehend. Sparksy is not wrong here. The club is, for allowing that sort of personal info to be in the hands of someone who can't be trusted. Whoever that untrustworthy person is should should be reprimanded. |

| If Brewster is a replacement for Harbin, he looks a hard task master Quote I brought back quite a few ideas about how I would improve players under my charge, which was very helpful when I went into management. “It wasn’t rocket science. I just figured that with the game getting quicker and quicker, players who were not at their peak physical condition would increasingly find themselves at a disadvantage against those who were. “You can be technically more gifted than your opponent. | GRAIG BREWSTER is being lined up as the assistant manager to Derek Adams at Plymouth Argyle, Herald Sport has learned. The former Dundee United and Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker has previously worked as the No 2 to Adams at Ross County. Adams, 39, was appointed as the Pilgrims' boss on a two-year contract last Thursday as the successor to John Sheridan [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

I'm afraid it's par for the course under the Brent regime at H.P, another example of his regard for transparency and good governance (supposedly) that someone on his watch was able to leak out the news about peoples careers and jobs before the employees did. |

Or perhaps they're just gutless. |

| So, there is JB in his car off to see Sean McC, Rhys and John Harbin to deliver the news personally. BUT ... as he leaves HP some untrustworthy employee who has just helped draw up the letters and cheques tells Sparksy who promptly tweets it. How the hell is that JBs fault? The fault lies with the employee and with Sparksy who, when told, should have thought ''do those involved know?'' Sack the employee for gross misconduct and make Sparksy apologise to those concerned. What was JB supposed to do? Put all the employees in a cage away from phones and with no mobiles or was he supposed to trust those he pays? Also, at an interview or subsequently, how does an employer know if a person is trustworthy? Please don't say ''references'' because these days employers will only confirm the person worked for them. Employers are afraid of saying anything at all derogatory in case they are sued. 2 people are to blame here - the employee and Sparksy. Sparksy out Burley in |

| That's some furtive imagination you possess there.
This is not dissimilar to Errington leaking the Adams appointment and perhaps gives credence to Sheridan's mistrust of the media.
As for the "make Sparksy apologise" bit. What are you, a teacher.

"Gorn" Sparkes is an asslicker, someone would have told him to put that out. Anyone thinking this is journalism is stupid. |

| To be fair to Brent/ Argyle the leaks of information have been minimal during their tenure (if anything they don't give out any info willingly). But recently we have seen two leaks- first the Adams appointment to Errington (did anyone win anything at the bookies as a result?) and now Sparksy.
I wonder what has changed?
Without knowing whether Sparks knew if the 4 had already been told its hard to guess whether he had bad intentions or not (I would hope he has DM-ed Rhys Wilmot to explain- I guess he can't tweet who his source is)? It is still quite unprofessional of a club employee to leak this info out (before the 4 knew). |

| Think logically here.
Who would have been in on the decision to let them go?
That could only be the board, surely?
Leaks need to be stopped at source if they are to be stopped at all but one of them told Sparksy or told someone who knows Sparksy who told him who tweeted, I expect, in good faith.
There's one, maybe two, people here who should be ashamed of themselves but neither of them is Sparksy. |

| Never rated Harbin. ''Will take players to their limits and then beyond .... geared up mentally and physically .... '' Far far too many games where the players were still in 1st gear. But .. thanks and good luck JH. |
