| The next time we go through a shite run of results, or he comes out in the media with his usual lines about loving our club...
Can we just remember that he had the chance to come in when Adams was appointed, probably didn't even apply, had no interest in the job, then whinged in the national media about how it is too far from everywhere?
That should be enough to stop the perpetual gushing for Neil Warnock, right? |

| I think you're guilty of tarring ATD with the Pasoti brush. How many on here screamed for Colin? |

| Can't argue with the sentiment there. If he really wanted it then this was the perfect opportunity to return.
He didn't, and it's over. Won't get another chance. |

He didn't, and it's over. Won't get another chance. It just that he choice to live down here, uses it to get on the media, no intention to rejoin Argyle. What help as he done for Argyle since he was sacked. Talk the talk |

Talk the talk He wouldn't of been the right person anyrate......he is down here for retirement not too get his sleeves rolled up for work.....he didn't last too long at Palace....and they had some decent players....but it was beyond him to get the best out of them.....he's living on his past successes. Pardew proved that Warnock was yesterdays man. |

That should be enough to stop the perpetual gushing for Neil Warnock, right? Let's hope so. I never quite understood the fascination with Colin. Yesterday's man. Wembley was nearly 20 years ago. |

That should be enough to stop the perpetual gushing for Neil Warnock, right? As Czarcasm says Warnock wasnt the choice of many if any on here to be fair. I agree with what your saying though. however, the fans still calling for him to return should have moved on 20 years ago and if they haven't then they arent going to now sadly until he truly retires and stops feeding the bears with media quotes about how much he loves the club. Its the same with Luggy, I gurantee you a steak dinner with all the trimmings that if Yeovil perform better than us in the league the fans will be hinting that we should have hired him over Del Bhey instead despite being employed by Yeovil. Its how their jannar minds work. |

| If Neil was given the job, I wouldn't have minded. Not sure he would be my first choice. Unless we went for Jones and a Dof. |

| How much money do you think Argyle had on offer?
I doubt Warnock gets out of bed for such an amount.
Pay enough, the special one would have come here. |

Pay enough, the special one would have come here. Wouldn't have thought Adams was on less than 200k I'd be surprised if he was on anymore than £120K (+ bonuses for achievement) - if that. About 2 years back I read the highest paid in Lge 2 was getting about £125K (think it was Tiz actually) |

| As Adams was out of work, he wasn't in a strong position to negotiate. He's probably on a basic salary with extra bonuses for promotion. |

| He wont be on anything close to 200k, probably a decent wage for a manager in this league but nothing groundbreakingly cheap or expensive either. Like CA says, as he was out of work there would have been very little room for him to ask for a pay increase and I can't see Argyle being too keen to give him an unnecessarily expensive contract either. |
